Hi there,
I've been going through time watching buffy and then angel, etc. Just now I've reached then end of Buffy season 5 where she dies, and before that I hit the end of season 2 of Angel.

My question is such- Sould I watch Buffy 6 and Angel 3 intermittently in order of when the specific episodes were released or just go ahead and watch one of the seasons first and then the other?

Any other suggestions welcome🙂

Thanks for the help,
Tripat

owh! you're so lucky to be seing them for the first time :D
i don't think it would matter with the season you're currently on. there are no cross overs or anything of real importance that happens in one show that you'd need to know in another.
if you were thinking of watching it this way, i would have suggested you do it with BTVS season 4 and Angel season 1, or BTVS season 7 and Angel season 4

well i normal when im in the mood watch buffy and angel. but i watch what im in the mood for then start from season 1 and then all. at the mo im watching angel 'tomorrow'

The best way would probably be to stagger the eppys..one of Buffy, one of Angel but that is quite a bit of disc changing. You could also do one disc Buffy, one disc Angel. Probably better than doing it season by season.

i would watch Buffy, then angel... as it works out better that way.. for example.. in Season 4 of Buffy when Angel comes to Sunnydale *with the indians etc) and then Buffy goes onto Angel in "I Will Remember You" its better to watch it in that order.. along with other examples but i wont list in case you havent seen... and i would go ep by ep... like i know its a pain changing the dvd.. but i think its kind of worth it

so watch season 1-3 of buffy
then season 4 (Btvs) and season 1 (Angel) - do this ep by ep.. swapping.. so one ep of buffy.. one ep of angel.. etc etc and thats what i did for the entire series.. but thats just me.. the storyline makes sense that way :silly:

i've done this and its a really great way to watch both shows. but it doesn't always run buffy-angel-buffy-angel. series B4/A1, B5/A2 are easy but then things go a bit wonky from then on with the shift in network. i found a schedual of original air dates online and then watched them in that order. sometimes you might get three or four of one series in a row but if you follow the order things should work out by the time you get to the second to last episode of Buffy (is that end of days?). my viewing schedual said watch lies my parents told me then orpheus but they should really be viewed the other way round (btw, that is a great double).

I watched Buffy all the way through 1-7 then Angel 1-5. I prefer to focus on one show for full understanding and enjoyment.
