How to write the personality for a character.

Decide how many primary character people will be in your tale and by that I mean those who you will give a personality to. Who will be the one in charge - who will be the nice person or the mean person - the childish being - the one who will accept others view points.
A fan fic will always be improved if the reader can see who is the good guy and who is the bad guy ( this is a case of do as I say not do as I do ).
If you are writing about a known character ie Buffy, Willow, Giles adhere to that person in the series which can be difficult when attempting to get that character to do something other than was in the series.
Read through what you have written to correct mistakes in grammar and spelling. On a separate occasion read through what you've written to make sure it is easy to read and makes sense.
Give it some time before entering it as if you read it through straight away your brain may see what you've written as being correct without actually correcting any of your mistakes.
Make sure you use correct words, I.E., your, you're type words. Get to know what each of them means and use the right and wrong one in a sentence.
That is your pencil.
That is you're pencil.
Mistakes like them make the story hard to read as the reader will need to stop to try and understand what you are saying before continuing - affecting the flow of the tale you have worked so hard to be meaningful.
Sod the variation of English English or English American. Even if many folk who learn English as a second language will be taught English English. The difference is like a 500 page dictionary.

Well you would need to tell me a bit about the character before I could suggest what the realistic dialogue might be.
I have written many character traits Goddesses, Angels and Demon Hunters, Demons and vampires, witches, Sin Eaters, evil entity's, Aliens, Alien clones, teachers, school children, astronomers et cetera. And yes even normal people ! So don't hold back with describing your character.

So you want to write a bad guy into the story, it is not enough for the person him/her just to use a few cuss words and think the person sounds a bit mean, you might like to have the character speak as an angry person would, to be a dominant figure who has to be correct.
Bare in mind that person might be a vicar or a priest who is upset with those not of his faith. People of religion are known for their ability to be angry at those who do not agree with him.
(Once again that is a do as I say not as I do kinda thing).

How to write as an angry person, do you have a copy of the film Ginger Snaps watch how Brigitte and Ginger talk as human then compare that to when they are turning. There wasn't many times that any of the demonic creatures in BTVS had two personalities.

How could you write your main person to be seriously scary?
How could you write the enemy of your main person to be a demonic entity?
In any dialogue only have the evil entity say what the reader can do, have the story acceptable for the reader to accept it.
When the prime character is being attacked but you are not sure how to write the attack, think of what scares you, IE rats, think of being attacked by a rat and how it would use its teeth, then imagine the rat to be a vampire.
