How was your day? (Now 85% spider free!)

There's been an alarm going off outside all afternoon, I decided to call a few of the businesses around to find out where it was coming from, it's an abandoned restaurant, the owner lives over the other side of the country, but at least now it can be somewhat dealt with. Why the guy that lives next door had to wait until I called him at nearly 10pm to look into where it was coming from I don't know. I know I could have called earlier, but it wasn't easy to work out where it was from until I went outside for my walk.

Update: Fire engine came, guys looked around and left, alarm still going strong. It is now gone 11!

You are available for chats/phone calls a couple of hours a week, currently at home but otherwise at the center. There are camps and activities (when no Corona) but mostly you are there in a fairly anonymous capacity just to talk to them, and not the same person over and over again.

My day was exhausting. I left an hour early. Then I went to ANOTHER supermarket to shop. Got some frozen dinners so I don't have to go anywhere tomorrow (my day off).

I also picked up two of my favourite drugs prescriptions from CVS pharmacy (I bribed a girl at the doctor's office to call them in early). That's what got me through the day...knowing that I had those lovely pills to look forward to. 😁
 
Alarm is still going off, and another has now joined it. Plus it's already 20c at 8am, I'd really like to hibernate today.
 
It got interesting last night at about 11:30 PM when I was out walking the dog. As we were about to cross the street on the way home, a coyote went running up the other side of the street. They are as close as you get to an apex predator here. But he had a slight odour of skunk on him. An apex predator met up with an apex defender. This is very bad for the coyote - all the bunnies and other prey will know he is coming in time to get away and unless he stays downstream of them, he will starve.
 
We saw the other half of the predator - prey situation as I was out with the dog last night. A skunk crossed the road in front of us. Having a house that backs onto a park introduces you to a lot of local animals and a skunk can do a lot of damage to a coyote without even touching him.
 
Roadworks started outside at 7:30am, followed by a dull day at work. Really didn't feel like my walk today, so I'm slightly under, however I did 7 miles yesterday so I'm still on track. Did watch a documentary thing on Netflix though.
 
I'm having an unlucky set of days since Sunday when I've decided to ask to my brother to clean (dust) inside out my computer because of the ventilator or whatever that started to become too hot & made my computer stop brutally but there's something that went wrong with it. So my computer don't work anymore.
So today, my mom asked my brother to go with me buy a new computer but then at home, 1 hour ago, I've put it on for the first time, after the configuration & then when I'm on the net my new computer froze so I will return it with my brother Friday. But I seem to have no luck these days.

On the good side, after I & my brother went buy the new computer, I've been in a market & found a figurine of a TV show that I love, it's a figurine of Saul Goodman from Breaking Bad. So I bought it. It's the only good side.

Around here there's a lot of public right of way walks through posh landowners fields etc, this one walk keeps getting blocked off by the landowners, even though they aren't allowed to, so now I'm joining a sort of protest walk for it. It's all quite ridiculous, these people clearly did not grow up here, this is a walking town in the countryside, blocking the walks is going to get you noticed in a bad way. And in this town, people won't forget it.

I walked this path this evening and of course I slipped going over the little stream, they've removed the bridge to stop people walking, but there's a narrower bit with branches that people have been using to cross over, yeah I tried and sunk into the muddy water. So that bit wasn't fun, but it is quite fun going along the walk knowing that they hate us doing it, even though it's perfectly legal. Them taking out the bridge however was not.

That's the excitement of my day, work was busy today though, so things are looking up. Plus I'm over 100 miles into my virtual challenge.
 
Didn't really have anything planned. So went for a run/walk earlier. Stopped after for coney dog, fries & blue moon malt (sugar & fat free). Then got text from bestie. End up hanging out for a while, and then drove around trying to find a place to eat. After we finally found a place open that wasn't krazy busy. Ordered buffalo chicken pizza which we were gonna split, but he changed his mind at last minute. Ate like 2 small pieces and took rest home. Have like enough for 2 more meals. lol Oh had some yummy blackberry lemonade with it. Yay for last minute plans. 🙂
 
Made a quick trip to the store because I was out of Magnum ice cream bars. If you've ever tasted one, you'll understand the urgency of the situation. Got home and did laundry...there's nothing like freshly laundered towels when you get out of the shower. Also, you know that feeling of victory when you've FINALLY discovered a shampoo/conditioner that actually makes your hair all silky? Oh my God. I am complete.
 
Stumbled over two of the most delicious ice cream popsicles (no clue what the official English term for them are lol) ever, one is shaped like a piece of watermelon, the red part tastes like, you guessed it, watermelon, the green bottom like apple and the kernels are made out of chocolate, delicious. The second one has a hint of that fruity bubblegum that loses its taste after 2 minutes, with a shell made from white chocolate and pop rocks. I don't care that they're clearly for children, I'm buying stock in them from now on; they aren't even that expensive 😀

Making the day even better, it is now cold enough that I've closed my window; can all summers be this cold, please? 😛

What kind of shampoo/conditioner? My current pick has stopped working for me.
