It seems you are now on the downward path to kitchen gadget acquisition that will lead to overflowing cupboards, difficult cleaning (ever try to wash a garlic crusher?) and power cord expanders everywhere. Neatness will never be part of your life again. But you will eat well.

Oh I have a bunch already, but oddly not the smaller things, I had a dehydrator and food processor but no rolling pin! Neatness has never existed for me anyway!
 
I was totally going to ignore ABS' inflatable mattress idea, cause I figured it would be super expensive, but curiosity can be a helper sometimes, so this morning I decided to exclude it by actually finding out the prices; holy shit, they had some cheap ass options. So now I have tossed out my old mattress, bought an inflatable (with built-in inflator) and tonight will sleep much better. So thank you very much to @Anyanka Bunny Slayer for the idea, turns out it wasn't so crazy after all 😛

Also, I took a long, hot bath this morning and that helped sooo much, too. It hasn't been quite as painful today.
 
I’m guessing Hermes is not Hermès bags.

My sister and I got a present from our grandmother, packed at an unspecified date and stowed away somewhere. When we opened it it turned out it has been packed with newspapers (wrapping up fine china) from 1988 😂 Some of the cups had a ”made in the USSR” stamps, lol

I’m drunk on power
Well, I nearly beat the hell out of a coworker. Ooops. 😂 So I'm back home now. Life is hard enough, dealing with my sister's and neighbours' complaints about my smoking and music. I've been in a constant state of annoyance since July 4th. So I was already mad when I got to work at 2pm. Before I even clocked in, a supervisor named Maria (who I've had problems with before) decided to loud talk me...I didn't like her tone or attitude, so I just walked towards her. I said, "Do that one more time and see what happens." I was THIS close to slamming her face into a wall. But I didn't. Went to the co-manager and told him what happened, and that I wanted a transfer to another store. I might just quit, because whenever I get THAT mad, it's a really bad sign. I'm home now, about to get into a cool shower...I'm covered in hives from being in the sun, and the itching is horrifying. I know I made the right decision, because I feel relaxed instead of nervous.

Actually had a semi-decent day at work. Ran a few errands before work. Got some Chipotle to go for lunch.
Found out that something I was worried about, got taken care of. So less stressed about job, than have been this past month. 😌
 
Old habits die hard. Me and my sister being self-congratulatory about keeping a social distance even at our summer place, my nephew: ”Literally just watched you and mom eat half a popsicle each then swap because you wanted the other’s flavor”

😳🙈 dammit.
 
Today has been a good day, my picnic backpack did arrive from Hermes yesterday, and most of the food I made turned out well. The koftas are a little bland, but other than that I'm pretty happy with what I made.

I went on the protest walk, and it was a great turnout, over 100 people came. To get to my mother's house from there though wasn't so fun, first path was completely overgrown at the beginning, the second part wasn't marked well and went through two fields of geese, but I got to mum's and collected the eggs and let the dogs out.

Next I walked over to have a socially distanced picnic with a friend, trying out my new foods and some of her homemade white chocolate and cardamom ice cream.

Overall I've walked 10 miles today and ate lots of yummy food.
 
I am really freaked out by the new Disney commercial. As mentioned previously in banned threads, I have a phobia of those face masks. (but it's weird because chicks wearing burkas don't bother me at all, but I digress)

So here's a screenshot of the Disney commercial showing all of their employees welcoming us to the park.

Looks like a cult
Had new carpets put in yesterday ... it was booked in for 23rd March but then we went into Lockdown... been waiting forever as I had a nasty flood downstairs which ruined all my carpets so Insurance and bang all sparkly new... seems like forever we've been on concrete!

So today is chill a bit then put everything back together, starting with the kitchen so we can eat later!
