Back to school for most of the schools here, so the start of the quiet time of work until the Christmas season.

Our house backs onto a park and across from the park, there is an elementary grade school. So the urchins are back along with all the noise. Traffic cops are out in force in school zones and they seem to be reeling them in like hapless trout.

It's the funeral today, and my anxiety is already playing up about it. I have managed to avoid all large family events for years, but this is have to do. It's not the funeral itself, that's just a short cremation service, it's the wake afterwards that setting it off. My family are large and loud, two things I struggle with. I don't have anything to talk to them about either, I avoided seeing my nan when she was ill.

So many funerals around me of late! I may be going to one in the near future and expect some terrible family drama that may require legal intervention to immediately follow. Hopefully it won't happen (soon).

I've never been to a funeral. I avoid them, even though family members say its selfish. Psht.

Hope its not too horrid
My day started out very strange because of this WEIRD dream I awoke from. I was running from a T-Rex, and grabbing chocolate donuts from a shelf...whaaaaat? Yeah, that certainly coloured my morning. Even stranger, my brother told me that my worthless sister seems to think I injured her pet hamster...in 2001. (We shared a place for two months and it was a NIGHTMARE for me!) And I'm like, "Is she completely insane?! What the hell is she talking about?!" Jeez!!! Unfortunately, she still lives next door to me. My parents are allegedly in the process of evicting her, but the bitch is STILL there. She's been upset for years that I don't want to be around her. (she's annoying as hell and a drama queen) I'd wish her into the cornfield if I could. 😠

Hey! It's cloudy outside!!! 😃 I love days like this. (I hate the sun) No immediate plans for today. Ha!!! Right after I typed that, my brother called and offered to pay me if I go to Ralphs for him. Hell yeah! Twenty bucks is twenty bucks

Oh! I think I mentioned before that I'm using one of my brother's cars...a Chevy Suburban. Mind you, I haven't driven in 14 years. Mainly because I'm one of those people who get really angry if someone cuts me off or tailgates me. I don't jump out of the car or anything, but in the past I have been known to "accidentally" ram people. 😇 I prefer big cars, like my old '73 Cadillac Coupe de Ville or a '74 Buick Regal. They're gangsta af and other drivers assume I have nothing to lose. I used to have these bumper stickers: "Urban Assault Vehicle" "So Many Pedestrians, So Little Time" and "What Insurance?" For some reason, cops were reltly amused by those bumper stickers. They'd be laughing when they were behind me. I'd see them in the rear view mirror, cracking up. Why were they behind me, you ask? Because my cars looked ghetto fabulous, of course. The type of vehicle you'd see doing a drive-by on someone. Intimidating as hell, and all metal unlike these new cars made mainly of plastic. Though I did have a Mercedes (a gift from my parents on my 19th birthday) but it only took diesel...not every station had diesel so it was really inconvenient.

Anyway, I'll share my 2-3 stories of "accidentally" ramming people later. Right now I have to go to the store. Ooooh! I need hazelnut creamer and cinnamon for my coffee. ❤

well one does need to carb up when running from dinos 😉
It turned out, we need to leave our home and move to a different state 180 miles away with two toddlers and no family, no friends, no backup. Thing is, we didn't want to move. But I got a quite pleasant job offer and there is no comparable job over here. So next step: find a flat in as less city-visits as possible. We did - but the biggest obstacle was finding a kindergarten for 2 children. And I don't how the situation is where you live, but it is horrific where I live. Of course we didn't find a kindergarten, but today we found a childminder and that is a huge success, because now my hubby can search for a job himself. That was not possible before: no childcare - no job. Otherwise I would have felt quite depressed knowing he need to sit the kids alone because I wanted to take that job.

Witness Protection, eh? 😛
Okay, I said I'd share my two stories of "accidentally" ramming other people's cars, so here goes:

1. I was driving in Westwood Village one night, about 11:30pm or so. I'd had a few drinks (which is not funny, because only morons drive after drinking...but that's what happened) and as I waited at a red light, another car full of sorority types pulled up next to me. Suddenly, I heard giggling and then this, "Oh my God! Look at that car! It is SOOOO ghetto!" I looked over at this car full of girls who looked like Cordelia's group...they were pointing at my car and laughing. Big mistake. I made a sharp right and rammed the driver's side of their car. I was rewarded with high-pitched shrieks of terror. 😈 They tried to get away, but I wasn't having it. So, it was a game of cat and mouse, with them attempting to hide and me finding them. 😂 Unfortunately, I made a turn and saw them parked with an LAPD cruiser next to them. Uh oh. They pointed at my car. I parked behind them, and told the cop that I was lost...and could he please tell me where Pico Blvd was? He looked confused, since the girls said I'd been chasing them. I feigned confusion, saying I'd been driving in circles because I was lost. Long story short, the cop believed me because those girls had also been drinking, and I looked sober. He gave me directions to Pico Blvd (which I already knew lol) Whew! That was a close one!!

2. I was in the turn lane at National and Westwood, when suddenly, the black BMW in front of me hit his brakes...my car was huge, and took longer to stop, so I honked at him in irritation. This guy actually put his car in park, jumped out, and came to my window. He was furious, saying how I'd almost hit him and that I should go back to driving school. (Yeah...that was ill-advised, dude. You should have stayed in your car) I waited for him to get back in his car...then I hit the gas. (Woo hoo!) His bumper crumpled slightly. His arms flew up in the air. He tried to get out of the way by turning right onto National, heading towards Overland. But I wasn't finished with him yet. Hit him one more time, then took off. I'm so lucky that a cop didn't see that. 😉 Anyway, I stopped driving a couple of weeks after that. Mainly because that guy probably reported the incident to law enforcement, so I was all paranoid. And at the time, I had two bench warrants out on me. (Don't ask) I ended up selling my beloved vehicle, after it stalled in the intersection of Wilshire and La Cienaga one evening at rush hour. You all know that when your car dies, the power steering does too, right? Imagine trying to push a big car out of an intersection without any help. 😦 But I did it...and sold it a week later. I loved that car. Damn. For some reason I can't attach a photo of it! Ah well. '73 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. ❤

I live in the United States. 💀
Remind me never to drive a car in the United States, and I must stop driving the 73 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. Good thing I like rolling down the road in my Centurion, heaven forbid any dippo who tries to do any road rage on me.

I'm laughing because I pictured me, you, and @HoppyHippy hanging out together, terrorizing the general public. Which sounds like incredible fun, barring the possible jail sentence. 😂

Yup, I can see it:

I got our passports renewed, for a pretty penny, just as my washing machine decided today was the day (to die). Thanks for that extra expense.

But, now I am able to travel abroad again! The travesty!

Oh you lovely people, do you know how to ensure the police never arrest the cuties who are driving the tank?
I make the police feel sick by having one leg each side of the barrel when I'm dressed like Cher.

Hang on. Are you actually serious about driving a tank?
