It's never a good sign when the "service engine soon" light continually pops up on the dashboard. The truck has been real moody for a few months...and it's already shown me it does NOT like driving in warm weather. It's always a crap shoot when I try to start the engine. Will it or won't it start? Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It's very stressful. And there's now an ominous clicking noise under the hood. I'm no oracle, but I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with the engine! 😄

I smashed a glass while cooking the other day stepped on glass from it first thing today. I thought I had vacuumed it all up but no such luck. So started the day with vacuuming again, twice.

Took the bunnies out for a brush in the garden before the rain came in the afternoon.

It was so pretty outside when the rain cleared, so still. I should have taken my phone walkies to get pictures but they never turn out as good as the real thing anyway.

Not sure where you are located, but here in the US most auto parts stores will run a free diagnostic that will tell you why the light is on. Will at least let you know how serious it is.

Oh, we checked carefully. In fact, about a month later we took everything out of the kitchen so we could deep clean. And somehow that one piece STILL managed to stay hidden.

Not sure where you are located, but here in the US most auto parts stores will run a free diagnostic that will tell you why the light is on. Will at least let you know how serious it is.

I'm in Los Angeles (aka the 9th Circle of Hell). Thank you for that info, by the way! Much appreciated. There's an Auto Zone a mile away from me, and I'll DEFINITELY get that diagnostic soon. It'll take the mystery out of what's going on with the truck.

They can also clear a code with their code reader so if it was something that only happened once, you don't have the problem anymore. I bought my own code reader a few years back and it has enabled me to get rid of some pesky codes.

Yeah, although if it is being stubborn about starting then code clearing probably won't solve it.

Even if the car seemed to be running fine there can still be issues that might cause you to fail inspection. * I once cleared a light that said there was an issue with the catalytic converter. But since it wasn't working properly I failed the emissions test.

*Beginning in 2025 vehicle inspections are going away in Texas so it becomes a moot point for me in a year.

I duno! I just asked whats the best deal on nuggets and she said 24 for $9.95, so thats what i got 🙂 We still call them quarter pounders too! Maccas must be a drug to measure like that!

Today has been slow. Woke up all locked up on my right side again. Did some gardening but now curled up on the couch with the dogs watching Anthony Stewart Head in a percy Jackson movie.

My friend from Austin is in town for a week visiting friends & family yesterday we went up to Cleveland.
Decided to park in The Flats and walk round before the game...

Walked by several bars & other establishments. Sign made me giggle 😀

Just wanted to add that had pizza at stadium from Dante's Inferno which, according to lady at stadium, was created by michelin star chef
Was pretty darned good. Also had a hot dog with that brown stadium mustard and a vanilla gelato 🙂

Been a great day 🙂 got to go pat some ponies. Its so lovely out there. The babies were racing each other around the paddocks in a natural pace. It was awesome to see, they doing exactly what they were bred for and loving it. Whenever people say race horses dont want to race, has never tried to make a horse do anything it doesn't want to do. I picked my favourite and the guy said I could have it, but hes (usually) joking. I also liked the big dorky 4 year old he had there, but hes still racing so no chance of snatching that one away.

I always want to go out there more but feel out of place just hanging around patting other peoples ponies. I wish the shire had let me hire a paddock so I could have my own horse here. They seem to want to lock me out of everything I want to do. I applied for the gym in April and they still wont let me join. Its like they want to drive me out of here. I love my house though and if the weather was like this all year, I'd never leave. If I had my own horse to ride, it would be perfect.

Our usual dance at the Legion was cancelled last night and postponed until Friday. The 100-year old building developed a massive plumbing problem that is going to take three days to solve. I am rather skeptical about the three days - it could easily be more. So we moved it to the outdoor venue at Lakefront Promenade where we usually go Fridays. But Anna, who runs the Miss Bachata and Miss Salsa event every Monday has been good to us for the seven years she has been in business, so If it is open Friday, we will go.

We have one girl who comes in every week from London ON, a distance of about 110 miles / 180 km, so I hope she got the message and didn't show up this week. She has shown up with as many as four other girls, so that could have been a disaster.
