How Was Your Day?

I am expecting @November to start training her dogs to go grocery shopping:

This would free up some time to take care of her gardens.

Poodles are certainly smart enough!! If I was rich, I would buy those talking buttons, and Lilah would be able to order drive thru for me too 😉

Lhasa apsos.... Not so smart. Harmony would chase her own hair in the wind. She can help in the garden, likes to eat grass.

The course is coming to an end after 9 months of hard work and breakdowns over assignments. It's been rough.

Our last lesson is Tuesday. I'm going to miss my male friend. I will remember the fun moments such as when we went to Oxford Street and when he bought expensive sardines for his father at the market. When he bit a classmates sandwich because it was expensive and he wanted some. When we were talking about what kind of roles we would play in films, he said I would be the romantic interest young adult type film role. When he bought an expensive jacket and the sales assistant said 'cool jacket' and I started repeating that line to him. When he bought me coke and chips at the pub and had to leave early because he spilt something on his white pants (Sorry that was a secret). How we spoke about being Irish and I related to him for that. Seeing his tall body walk into the room and his laugh that turns into a serious face a second later.

The rest of the class are so sweet and thoughtful. My other friend got me a card for my birthday and got the whole class to sign. She's always so sweet to me.

I'm also going miss the tutor. You can tell he really has a love for English and is so lively and joyful he makes the lessons fun. I hope he continues to teach and follows his passions.

I hope they all get to University or whatever they want to do with their lives. ❤

Its been a fun 9 months on the course and I have learned a lot. 💖

If there is a graduation I will probably attend alone or @Bop will probably come with me. I hope there is a graduation.

I'm really not good at goodbyes. 😔🐒❤

It's aggressive bird season now, just sitting here, watching people run past the windows as seagulls divebomb and chase them. Ugh, sky rats.

The magpies have been swooping me this week too! They usually dont start for a few more months. At least they tend to let out a call before the attack, so when I hear them, I run for cover. I dont know why they are swooping now, they are acting weird all over town. But in saying that, they have chased those crows out.

Apparently if you feed them, they wont swoop you. The other day I saw my neighbours dog diligently watching a group of magpies scoffing a loaf of bread on the back step. So they probably love my neighbour and hate me right now!

The seagulls swoop when they have babies on the ground, makes sense. But it means you have to have a volunteer to move the chicklet, under attack, because the parents will follow if you do.

I suppose I should be that volunteer because they stay away from my dog, so I suppose he'd be my protection. Hm.

Lol I would've thought feeding them would cause them to swoop more (to get more food!)

Its not baby season here yet! Actually now I remember, I was watching the young magpies play on my neighbours driveway the other week. Then I realized... That probably wasnt play wrestling.... So maybe they do have babies nearby. Very, very early, usually they wait until spring!

Maybe I can blame Lilah because she does try to chase them at the park. The sit on the fence out of her reach and mock her. She will bark at them when they sit on the power lines.

Too far from the sea for seagulls here. I wonder who would win in a swooping war, magpies or seagulls...

Seagulls.
I've never really seen magpies swoop here, so I'm gonna say seagulls, the magpies here are too busy fighting the crows.

Ah poor Lilah, magpies are such teases! They know what they're doing!

I'm actually listening to a cd! I got given one last week but wasn't sure if I had anything to play it with as the dvd drive on my laptop no longer works, but it's working fine in my portable dvd player!

I thought I was going to be Internet-less today, but here it is, still working, hurrah! I'm trying to get the important stuff done, like reading and posting on BB, since it could go out at any time. 😁

Tased by a teenage girl. I'm not angry, only confused.
Wow! Are you ok? Why did she do it?

I was outside with the dogs and heard the magpies so now we are inside haha. Might try to give them real big walkies today as Im planning to go out tomorrow. There isnt much of town to walk, might go up the railway track a little bit.

I did a lot of cleaning and laundry today. Everything smells soooo good...a little too much Spic and Span, but oh well!

Drinking coffee is making me lose weight fast. How weird.

Coffee makes you 💩
My day has just begun... but I dug a bit deeper than usual in my drawer this morning and picked up an old Drogyn T-shirt that I barely remember owning.
Made the start of my day a bit brighter anyway. 🙂

I'm sorry, no one tased me, it was a joke based on a rather strange scene from End Of Days.

I thought it was familiar but couldn't figure it out!
It was a great day! I spent all my cash ($92) at the London Vintage Radio Club's Junk in the Trunk sale where people try to unload the vast amount of radios, test equipment and other stuff they had collected over the decades. I picked up a signal tracer, a receiver with matching multiplex adaptor, a 5R4 rectifier tube that I had been looking for and a free calendar with fractal patterns on it.
