It absolutely does.
Did a little more shopping at Target. Wasn't planning on it, but I was suddenly obsessed with having new, fluffy pillows. So I got four. Sure, I already had A LOT of them at home. But that's not the point....they're not new. 😄

At very this moment, I'm relaxing amongst a big mountain of soft pillows. It's really nice! I feel like I'm being eaten by a giant marshmallow. I never want to leave this place. So soothing.

There was a kelpie on the ROOF of the storage sheds when I went walkies today. I was keeping an eye on it praying it wouldn't jump down and come for us while Lilah was blissfully unaware, happily rolling in frog poo.
 
A friend and I debated going for a walk or going to an art museum, as the weather looked iffy. Luckily, we chose the museum, as it was hailing sideways when we left it. We waited to leave till it was just raining, and were blown down the street to the restaurant where we are lunch. Then I came home to find my power out. I guess March is really coming in like a lion!

I had to look up what a Kelpie was. The top result was a mythical water-horse living in Scottish lochs. Then I saw it was also a type of Australian dog. But it was fun imagining the former on the storage roof! It probably would have been less threat to your dog.

Grrrr I had such a nice afternoon! The meeting is hypnotic and puts me in such a great medatative space. It was lovely and relaxing.

I was in such a good mood and went out to pick some tomatoes and water the yard and a bloody baby snake slithered out from near the tap. I jumped back and looked for my shovel but couldn't find it, and when I came back, I couldn't find the snake. It probably went under the house - right under my bedroom there! Blugh. Definitely sent by satan since I was in such a good mood!
 
Get home and get an email from the letting agency, they're selling the flat. They said they will hopefully sell it and I can stay put, but it might not go that way. However they've been trying to sell the flat opposite me for over a year now, so I'm not expecting to hear anything for a while. I'll have to keep up with the cleaning though, which makes my seed sowing plans tricky.

Finally went and closed out an old retirement account I was never going to contribute to anymore. I won’t give details, but the sum I will be receiving from it is enough to be a massive help to me. I’m very happy with how that turned out. This is exactly what I needed to completely erase the last vestiges of last year’s series of mistakes.

I also have an old HSA account that I contributed to for a while that I need to figure out. If I do, it can cover my medical expenses. 🙂

I'm currently dealing with a mess similar to this; I got the semi-eviction notice last month, I have to move myself and all of my stuff out by May 26, but technically I can return in October, since they have to renovate. But I'm hoping to not have to and am trying to sign up for some special apartment thing for people on welfare who have no roof over their head. Since that will be me in a few months if I don't find something.
 
My day has been a bit odd. Looking after a friend that had tooth extractions under sedation today. Been to doc and found out I don't have enough cartilage in my hip joints so off for an MRI at some point. Abbs off ill again (its a daily thing at the moment - we get answers after some hospital test next week) and various coffees and calls with family and friends.

I'm looking at options, all of which require more money than I have. So it's a stressful waiting game.
 
Moving is so stressful 🙁 All the best for both of ya @nightshade and @Puppet. MRI's are stressful too @Nix hope all goes well. Im due another one soon but think I will skip it, I was fine in the machine but was really out of it after, wasnt bad at the time but worse when I look back, like most things! Haha.

Had a PERFECT cup of coffee this morning morning, did a little shopping, came home and had a bowl of rice with butter. Oh, and my new "witch cat" shirt arrived today. Very thrilled about that. Black clothes are so beautiful and soft when they're new. You know, before you wash them...
 
Got up early to meet my friend, she was going to an early morning doctor's appointment so she and I went to the mall together and I got a present for my niece's 5th birthday on Sunday (obssessed with Paw Patrol at the moment, lol) plus some stuff for myself. Then headed home to meet with the social worker that comes by twice a week and I got some more moving boxes packed. Now I'm waiting for my mom to come by to help me with something and then we're going to a store for some bubblewrap so I can get the more fragile items into boxes, too. Productive day 🙂
 
For the last few weeks I've actually managed to control my spending, and I'm SO proud of myself. Normally, the minute I get money it's gone in a flash...but not this month. I only bought things that I REALLY needed so I still have money. I'm usually dead ass broke around this time of the month...but not this time. I have money. 🥳
