I've been selling a bunch of my stuff on Vinted and I finally found a great trick to save money on packaging, so I just wrapped a puzzle in gift paper and will just stick the address on the outside and ship it off - it sucks to have to spend as much money on the packaging as what you're getting for the item, so this fix-it was great.
I also got my niece's present wrapped (in prettier paper than the brown simple one I used for the puzzle) and ready for Sunday. I got more money put on my card so I can take the train Sunday and now I'm just spending the rest of my day watching HGTV and chilling ๐

I tired selling stuff on eBay. I may have been doing something wrong, but eBay, PayPal and Royal Mail each made more money out of the deal than I did. It is not motivating to be selling and getting less than a quarter of the money.
This is my worry about trying to sell stuff, how to work out postage, and what to charge for it. I need someone to organise it all for me!

Today has been absolutely amazing!
โข I bought an excellent 4k blu ray player at a great price from Best Buy. I currently have no way to play my DVDs or Blu-Rays, so having that option now is fantastic! Iโm so excited to have it back! Itโs arriving to my door tomorrow ๐
โข Steam (online game retailer) started their spring sale today. To my surprise, quite a few titles Iโve been wanting for awhile were on sale for excellent prices! I got tons of stuff for ~$90 USD. For reference, new games are priced at $70 USD. So I really lucked out with how good this was! The most I paid for a single game was $17, and the most I paid period was $35 for a humongous bundle of games, bonus content, and much more for one of my favorite franchises. ๐
โข I got two frames for artwork Iโve been meaning to hang up. I framed the one I drew myself today and it looks absolutely gorgeous. ๐ Iโll do the other piece (that I bought) tonight, then hammer nails in the wall and hang them tomorrow!
โข I went out and got Saw X, which Iโve been meaning to do for a long, long time now. I saw it, but donโt own it. Now, I own all the movies! Additionally they had a Shudder movie for $10, so I got that too.
โข Got more kitty litter and a scoop. Previously Iโve just used thick gloves. ๐ Now I can scoop it out and dispose of it easy peasy, without wasting litter!
โข Went grocery shopping and got a TON for just $83 USD! Aldi is my new go-to shopping place! I walked out with like 11 boxes of macaroni and cheese for just $6.00.
โข And I used the rest of my money to catch up on every last bill. ๐ Now, Iโm completely up to date and everything is back to normal after last yearโs catastrophe. Starting over with a clean slate. ๐

Ooooh, tonight is Try Not To Laugh, on my FAVOURITE YouTubers' channel (Mat And Chels React). We request (and pay for) videos that we think will make them laugh. Thing is, they're both hooked up to TENS units and whoever laughs gets an electrical zap from the other. Sometimes they'll covertly turn it up to the maximum setting, especially if they're annoyed with one another. That's when the fun begins. ๐

I was going to get together with my bestie, but she has pinkeye. I saw her yesterday and really hope I don't get it! It was a gorgeous 70-degree day, so I walked in a park that was full of people taking photos of the cherry blossoms. The traffic was utterly crazy; I don't know why people don't give up and park!

My sister is startled quite easily, and the entire family has always known this. (If startled too badly, she sometimes has a panic attack) But since I'm still angry with her, I REALLY didn't care about any of that.
I saw her going out to the laundry room earlier, and quietly crept up behind her. Then I let out a massive roar. She dropped her laundry and began to hyperventilate. ๐คญ I turned around and went back into my yard.

Nice day today. ๐ I saw a production of Beauty and the Beast with my parents, which just left me shaking my head lol. My mom complained there was โtoo much singing.โ Likeโฆcmon, lmao. I loved it. The cast/crew did a phenomenal job of translating my second fav Disney musical to stage (behind Hercules ๐ )
Only problem was that they had a musical number between Maurice and Belle and the actor they chose for Maurice had way too deep of a voice to execute that song well. It sounded rough at parts. Everything else was great. Was worried about Ms. Pottsโs actor being a little monotoneโฆbut then she did โBeauty and the Beastโ PERFECTLY. Beastโs actor was also just amazing with the vocals. So was Belle!

I Had a very stuck day today. Spent on the couch trying to warn my mum off online shopping scams and watching reality tv.
Found a dead bird in the yard. Pretty, colourful thing, it looks like its beak was deformed and it probably starved to death. No danger of that happening to me! I dont think I went more than 3 hours without a snack today.
Definitely need to go big walkies with the dogs tomorrow. I'm looking forward to the cooler day.
