I stayed home today. Bad weather approaching, and I don't want to drive in it. It's not like I really need to go anywhere. I have everything I need right here. Except donuts. I really want a jelly donut.

Where I am, you are never more than a few minute's walk from a Tim Hortons donut shop and they usually have jelly donuts. We have had rain for the past couple of days and we may get it to let up on Monday. What kind of bad weather are you looking at? Rain or something more serious?

Oooh, donuts!!!! There's not many places here that make good donuts. I can only think of one or two.

We're expecting lots of rain, possible thunderstorms. It's super dark and cloudy right now, and an ominous wind is blowing.

I'm also convinced an earthquake is on its way.

Didnt go to ministry today. My foot was still cramped up and sore. Its my right foot so not great to drive with! Caught up on Survivor then took the dogs for walkies around town and had to chat to ten odd people anyway. Everyone was out and about today! I will be glad when school holidays are over and everything goes back to quiet and normal.

Spent the afternoon napping and then following the news about the Bondi stabbings 🙁
We sat outside for a while but there was thick smoke over town and the blonde dog HATES it so we weren't out there as long as we could have been. Especially since they had such a lot of naps with me today! I had to play a few games inside because they were both playful dogs.

Im seriously considering letting the dogs sleep in my bed overnight. I had an awful nightmare last night and just couldn't sleep after it. I just wanted to snuggle the poodle but didnt want to disturb her all snug in her own bed. But both dogs have been so good when it comes to naps on the bed, no fuss or disturbing of me. The bad bit will be if I change my mind and dont want them on the bed anymore, it'd be hard to kick them out again!

I had a haircut. No more uncontrollable curls.

Repaired my pc, finally. Only thing I was a bit miffed about was the lack of installation instructions in the box, though they had a QR code to web instructions. Took maybe an hour, but it was well worth doing, since now the cooling system in it is quiet as can be. Then I went out and had a good time with someone. 🙂

I ended up not going home from last night's dance until 3:00 PM today. Angela's apartment is quite nice.

I had a great day yesterday, and yet, somehow, I once again failed to clean the apartment. Maybe that’s why it was great!

Drove to the city today. Was a stunning, beautiful drive, but they've extended the city limits out, so the speed limit dropped from 110km/hr to 80km/hr for the last 25kms and added a bit of time to the drive. Another town on the way has new speed limits too. Agro drivers in big utes overtook all of us doing the limit on double white lines on single lanes either way, so this might not end as well as they hope it will!

I picked the perfect day to go, not too busy and I saw a heap of other cars from my town there. Everyone must have had the same idea, waiting until the holidays were over 😁 I saw most of them in the craft store haha.

I went into Bunnings (hardware store) to get some garden supplies. I feel embarrassed by this, but I got a bunnings wide brim straw hat. I will feel like a tool wearing a hardware branded hat, but its just so practical! Maybe I can make it prettier with flowers.

I was planning to go to Target, but suddenly changed my mind. I can't be the only person who gets stressed when surrounded by hundreds of other shoppers. People are ANNOYING in groups. I haven't gone to Costco in ages because of the unwashed sea of humanity that sells there. Seriously, why don't some people wear deodorant?! Don't they know that they stink? A bar of soap is a very small investment. There's no reason for you to smell bad...unless you just don't care.

Costco's roast chicken is amazing, though. But not worth driving out to Marina del Rey, finding parking, AND walking through the entire warehouse.

That is why more and more people are making their own deodorant or using more natural means to mask the smell. It can be expensive and a pain in the arse to make your own though, it's sometimes easier to go without, depending on how much and from where you sweat.

You're only allowed to be the "right" kind of mentally ill to be embraced there lol. I discovered the poodle sub and spend my time making name suggestions now haha. But man, took a long time to find that sort of sub. I have to mute multiple subs a day on the main page.

More mind control going on there then than Facebook! I thought that was bad, but Reddit is worse because the kids don't even notice the way it's shaping them. Facebook lulls you into a trace first. Reddit just goes straight to the brain juice.

I was caught off guard going into the hardware store. I didn't expect to get nervous about that. I was ok after it, even went my card declined at the pet shop and I had to do a mad dash to the bank and back to get my stuff.
Also I haven't washed my hair for over a week, so I was probably the stinky one of the group.

I made the best grilled cheese. Pepper jack and American, two slices each. I love cheese. I haven't had red meat in over a month, I just don't want it. Same with eggs! How strange. I'm still hungry, but there's nothing here that I want. Right now I'm on a Farscape binge. 💕

Amazon straight up driving me nuts. Sent in replenishment product to PA, PA received it. Sent it to OH. OH sent it to NC. NC sent it back to the original PA address. Three weeks been waiting for them to get stock. Meanwhile getting messages "you stock is low, send 50 units today" Hey MF you got 100 units bouncing in your system. Stoopid Amazon.

Reddit is cool. But Quora. Oh my word. Serves no purpose. I don't know who would actually go to Quora and ask a question they need a good answer to. Besides, it reminds me of that quorn meatless meat brand and the less I can think about that crap the better.
