Reddit is cool. But Quora. Oh my word. Serves no purpose. I don't know who would actually go to Quora and ask a question they need a good answer to. Besides, it reminds me of that quorn meatless meat brand and the less I can think about that crap the better.

The majority of things I see from that are stupid questions like “is it okay to beat my child with a lead pipe?” Though my favs are the questions that are straight up asking about a fetish the person has so they can get an answer to “enjoy”

I used to use it to answer geek questions before they implemented the stupid Quora+ thing. A subscription service to see answers….just lol

Went to Tooting, London for a trial session of adult cheerleading. I didn't find the place and I was already 20 minutes late. Google maps worked but I was already too late to follow the directions. Will book another session and try again at a later date.

Went to visit my mom, then to the market. A guy in the parking lot asked, "Did you know that you have a flat?" And yes, a front tire was very nearly flat. Damn it!! That had to have happened fast, because it was fine an hour before. Drove it home and called AAA. Guy put air in it, and so far it looks fine. But if it goes flat again, I'll have them put the spare on tomorrow. The spare doesn't have the cool looking rim on it though! Boo hiss. I'm so shallow. 😄

I never saw those... Lol.
Mine was full of medical misdiagnosis stories, but 8 in a row of the same story by different "people".

I liked some of the supernatural questions and answers. Like mini spooky stories, but none too horrific.

Yeah I left when Quora+ started. The only ones I ever posted in were bible discussion anyway. I can do that elsewhere.

Got my car back today from the mechanic. My turn signal went out, and I figured that that was a sign that it was finally time to take it in for an oil change and major work I'd been putting off. Three days and three g's later, I finally got it back, with all-new innards. But... they forgot to fix the turn signal. 😂

Walkies was weird. People kept stopping me for chats. Like more than usual.. usually I can say hi, talk about the weather or garden and move on pretty quickly. Today it felt like people were really "checking in" on me. I am guessing the bondi stuff got them thinking about people like me living in their community instead of under strict supervision in and out of the clinics like I used to. At least Im not "known to police" here, except for waving when they drive past haha.

People in my congregation are different, they never treated me like a criminal. So when I see them and they check in, its not jarring. But the townspeople (apart from my close neighbours) treated me like a criminal when I moved here, especially when I was in shops or lining up behind them. I duno if its a result of being here enough years to be considered a local now, or if it is the coverage of mentally ill people being allowed to roam around free on the news and they wana check Im not about to lose it in the post office.

I totally get this!! When the neighbours are suspiciously chatty with me, I automatically wonder about it. Like, they know I don't like them and try to avoid them...but every now and then, someone insists on talking to me. I don't like being cornered and forced to talk. Especially when they're only doing it to assure themselves I'm not plotting their demise. "Oh, she spoke to me! Maybe she doesn't want to set me on fire." 🤭

Today, headaches galore. I cannot handle champagne. I love it, but I can’t handle it.

I went to my niece’s 18th birthday party last night (family only), I found out that last weekend when it was a party with her friends that it was Sex and the City themed. Apparently they love the original series. Which surprised me, all I seem to see is articles and think-pieces on how outdated and cringe it is.
But maybe that’s one of those internet vs irl things.

Full moon approaching. Aches make agro. Maybe I need a day out again but I have visitors staying over the Anzac Day break, so I need to prepare for them. Got a lot of garden work to catch up on, now that it is finally cool enough. Bit scattered.

I had to go to a pharmacy up near Beverly Hills today. I don't usually drive around there because I have expired tags and no insurance (PLUS my gangsta looking truck REALLY stands out lol)

I was at the pharmacy about 20 minutes, then dashed out to wear my truck was parked. And OMFG a cop had parked right behind me. He wasn't there before!!! He wasn't watching me as I approached my truck, so I casually got in. But the engine wouldn't start!!! It was overheated again 😳 Nooooo! On the third try, it started.

I got the hell out of there.. I used side streets and alleys. Felt like a wanted, paranoid criminal dodging cops (okay, "technically" I WAS dodging them lol). Finally got to the market...and just as I walked in, a Sheriff's Department car pulled into the parking lot. I was in a super paranoid state by that time and wanted to cry. Anyway, I calmed down enough to realize the deputy was probably going to the.pizza place there (turns out he was).

Driving home I was a MESS. Worst panic attack I ever had.

Well, I'm over a cold that I had since the beginning of last week, so that's good! I've been having a little bit of a weekend break from most of my sixth form/college work, I'll get back to it next week or whenever I feel a sudden surge of productivity.

I'm also unbelievably excited for this festival I will be going to in two week's time. Chock full of different music styles from reggae, metal, folk, shoegaze, pop, indie, electronic, grime, hip hop. I had tickets to go to it for my birthday, so as well, I think a pub crawl will be in order, the festival is in Wrexham (I don't live too far from it, I can just hop on a bus and I'd be there in about 5-10 minutes). Lots of different venues: pubs, nightclubs, a tepee in the town square, our local churches. Here's hoping I can get somewhat of an excuse to practice my Welsh, I'll have to swing by my local Welsh-speaking pub and try and ask for a beer in my rather shaky Cymraeg. Ha!

I hate it when the anxiety meditation only makes a bit of difference. I am constantly anxious every second of everyday and it's been this way since I was about 13. I keep replying regrets and the past and feel ashamed of because I used to let myself be manipulated so often. I also tried exercising and it provides some relief but I still feel anxious.
