How Was Your Day?

I'd only worry if Pluto was in Uranus. That would just be goofy

Not to be all ... you know... but
Pluto is in Aquarius
so Pluto is in Uranus

Hot here too 😭 its terrible. The extra long summer really puts me in a manic rage mood. Not great.

Went out to the tennis club this morning for a morning tea. Im glad these things are close to home and only short. I do much better socially in very small doses.

Wondering now if its too late in the day for a nap. Half my face has gone numb which is a migraine warning for me. Just from being out in the bright sun too much!

I've been feeling a little sad lately. I don't even know if sad is the right word, we'll say disappointed. For 1 year I was training to become a social worker. This training lasted 1 year. In everyday life I am quite introverted, very shy, I don't approach others, I don't talk easily to strangers, I am really quite withdrawn into myself. However, during the training I formed a bond with a girl, we will call her Aurélie. It happened naturally, I didn't ask for it to happen. We laughed together, we discussed everything, we loved spending time together. A strong friendship was created and it's really just friendship, already because she has a guy and above all I'm gay lol. I felt good with her, I could tell her everything, every time something happened to me in my life she was the first person I contacted and it was the same for her she confided everything to me. We could spend an hour on the phone every day and we sent each other messages every day. Almost every weekend we had parties, drinking white wine lol,. For me we had a close bond. I could count on her at any time and she could count on me. I don't let many people enter into my life but it happened so naturally that I didn't understand anything.

However, the training has been over for 2 months now and the relationship has completely changed. She found work, I didn't, not yet. Today we hardly write to each other anymore, and when I send her a message she replies 48 hours later. We see each other a lot less too. I don't know, it's weird what I'm going to say but I feel a distance between us now and I'm having a hard time with it, frankly. In fact I feel abandoned, neglected... for me we have gone from everything to nothing and I don't live this contrast well. We saw each other on Friday 15 days ago, I told her that I found that our relationship had changed and well for her it's normal in fact, it's the evolution of life. Except that when you like someone, you don't react like that, do you ?

I would really like some honest opinions please ? am I the one having an abnormal reaction ? Have you ever experienced a familiar situation (in my place or in my friend's place ) ?
Update on my situation :

I did have some news from her today. I expressed my fear to loose her friendship and that it makes me a little sad. She reassured me.. telling me that she is just exhausted by her work and she said that I’m in her heart and she doesn’t want to zap me and that we are going to see each other soon.

Now I do feel stupid to have doubted of her friendship. That really tell something bad of me. My judgment is so wrong, I can’t trust it.

Don't fret about your judgement; it just makes you human.

Good to see you got the answer you wanted!

It doesn't say anything about you to have wondered if her friendship was gone. No one has the ability to predict why she had not responded to you and new colleagues sometimes will mean a change in her circle of friends. I thought she might be exhausted because taking on a caseload means typically 35 to 40 clients and she has to get to know all of them (since she is new at the job) and she has to prepare for and attend court dates as well.

I haven't been able to hear out of my right ear for four days. I went to an urgent care, and they said there was fluid buildup and prescribed meds. I've never had this happen before, and it was so sudden - went to bed fine, woke up half-deaf - that I worried something was seriously wrong. So, I'm still deaf in that ear, but now I know it won't be permanent!

Oh, and if you go to one of those Zoom Cares, look up first if they take your insurance, and if not, lie. I went to one just up the street from me, said I would pay, because I knew they didn't take my insurance, but she refused to let me. So I had to drive to another neighborhood, and told them I was uninsured so I could pay to get help. 😳

Feel better soon!
Been a nice day. Had a little rain and a big rainbow. The humidity makes it so much easier to breathe. Its been one of those days where looking after me has been easy. Its nice to have permission to put the heater on, eat loads and watch a movie guilt free.

The dogs were so well behaved all day, mostly just snuggled up with me. Walkies seemed to wipe them out, even though it wasn't any longer than usual. Bunnies were snuggly tonight too, they all love me more in the cooler weather 😆 I think I must just be a giant heat pad to them.

Great night last night at the Lakefront Promenade dance. Clear weather and not too cold for dancing under the stars. And that was the main light source since the light over the triangular dance floor was out. There were over 100 people there.

But I left early to get a good start today at the London Vintage Radio Club. Only about two dozen people showed up but I managed to sell my Heathkit FM signal generator and bought a bunch of service manuals that I needed. I got home from the 350 km round trip at 5 PM but I was so tired that I had no intention of going to the dance at the Armoury tonight. I have danced as much as five nights a week but that was excessive so I cut out the Fregata on Thursdays. My girlfriend had a sore throat tonight, so maybe that was a blessing. I don't want to be tired and exposed to disease. I had only been to the Armoury once before and it was a blast - I met up with some indigenous Colombian women (I had only known two of them before) and they remain striking: very tall, 5'10" to 6'3", circular faces as if someone drew them with a compass, wide rib cage but thin from front to back and the most obvious thing, very deep voices.

Tomorrow should feature me doing a whole lot of... nothing.

Good day yesterday. Drove inland to the next town up to meet my dad for a picnic lunch. I haven't driven north for ages and sorta forgot how wide open spaces it is! Bit of a shock to go from my town surrounded by bushland to not.

That town was busy as, so many people. I just cant get over how busy everywhere but home is now days. Dad was worried about GMO crops and I was like dude, its a bit late to be worried about that! Told him about the farmer who got $600,000 because the crop he sprayed with glyphosate died and it was designed not to die when sprayed with poison. What could possibly go wrong! Lol way too late to be worried about that. He thought the farmers were shooting their sheep cos of the drought, also had no clue that it was only because they wanted to keep the live sheep trade going. Really hits home how much media influences his ideas on everything. Tried to bait me with politics but it didnt work.

Kept saying to me well you've really got life figured out now, again, no, I just got way more money from the government lol but hey think what ya want. Covid cash changed my life. Money makes life easier. Delivery does too!

No walkies today for the dogs. Want to clean the house up and get some washing done. Gotta wash the dogs too at some stage this week. Not sure if it will be today. They are both ultra clingy cos I dared to leave them for three hours yesterday. I dont want wet dog cuddles.

I went for a walk with a friend in a wooded cemetery. We just went there because it's a big, lovely place to walk and near a restaurant we wanted to lunch at, but I forgot that it's Memorial Day tomorrow. It was heartwarming to see many people there, leaving flowers on the graves of their loved ones, though bittersweet to think of my own loved ones buried far away.

Were you looking for that luxury house inside the cemetery that @Anyanka Bunny Slayer was asking about? Unless you are set up to inherit, you know that is the only way to get into luxury real estate today.

I installed the new image hosting app that @NotASlayer recommended, and it worked like a dream! But here's the weird bit...the OTHER app I was about to uninstall suddenly worked perfectly without any error messages. What a coincidence. 😄

In other news, the girls next door have been complaining that my cigarette smoke is "unbearable." (Security couldn't smell anything btw) The girls refuse to close their windows. So I lit five sticks of Nag Champa incense and put them where they could DEFINITELY smell it. (And believe me, ONE stick of that stuff is really strong!)

Sure, all the incense is making my eyes water and slightly difficult to breathe properly...but it's a small price to pay for vengeance! 😅

I'm already set up to inherit a little place in a cemetery. It's certainly not luxury, and pretty narrow and dark, but thanks to my grandfather's foresight, it's paid for!⚰️⚱️

Me too, as it happens. It is probably the most morbid thing I own!

Distracting myself by watching old 90's shows. I want to try some new hobbies but I'm struggling to be confident around people because of the mistreatment I have faced from a lot of people in the past. Trying to work on becoming more confident and self assured.

I ate too much today. Even MasterChef is making me queasy. Cant wait for walkies tomorrow. Its going to be a cold day and I am ready for it!
