- I love Disney, but I hate most of today Disney stars.
- I still sleep with my stuffed animals.
- I can't sleep with just one pillow.
- I still love Britney Spears.
- I hate German language, I don't know why, I have some German blood.. I just think it's a rough language.
- I'm obssesed with parfumes.

PrincessBuffy16 agrees: Hating Twilight is not weird. It's called being normal 😉

Very true! I wrote it in this thread because I thought I was the only one here who really hated it and now I realized I'm not! I hate Twilight for many reasons, but it would take up a whole page to explain why!

But anyway, I also love Disney Princesses! I actually recently got this barbie size doll collection of all of them including the new one Tiana, and it's really pretty! I really want to put them on doll stands lol! But when I was 5, I was Cinderella for Halloween!

I'm a huge Audrey Hepburn fan too! She's my idol and my favorite actress & celebrity! But I'm obssessed with her and I'm going to be her character Holly Golightly in Breakfast At Tiffany's for Halloween this year!

LOL I love you too!
- I like Twilight. In the same way buffy fandom makes me feel apart of something, the twilight fandom does too. While I personally dont have as much fun in it as the Buffy one, I enjoy it all the same. According to some of you that makes me not normal 😛 lol its ok I know I'm odd 😛
- I like to dance around my house singing to broadway songs any chance I can get
- My favorite piece of clothing are my julius the monkey pjs
- I HATE it when I can hear people chewing. I will literally need to excuse myself from the table
- I febreeze my bed every morning and vacum and dust my room everyday. I think I'm a wannabe germaphobe
- In the wintertime, I only wear skirts with tights. I hate pants, alot. I have no clue why, I'm just not comfortable in them. In the summer, its shorts, but they have to be a mid thigh, no longer or shorter.
- I LOVE chicken. When I was younger, my grandma would call me chicken finger. For my birthday every year, we go and get some chicken.

It wasn't my intention to offend some Twilight fans, I just don't find movies good, the actors can't act.. but I don't have anything against the books.

Don't worry Em, I think your normal, and I still love you if we don't agree on everything:)

I loved Twilight the books as well as the movies. I was afraid to admit that because I am such a devoted Bangel fan that I thought I was betraying that.

HAHA, me too! I am currently staring lovingly at my Cinderella, Belle and Ariel dolls that are on stands on my dresser. I normally hide them when my friends come over 😛 I know all the words to the songs in the movies and I was Ariel for halloween two years ago.

I shall never grow out of my obsession for princesses! EVER!! tehee :mstickle:

Flannen
Flannen
My obsession is only with Ariel and The Little Mermaid (out of the princesses anyway!)
I wish that I had been named Oliver. 😀

I love touching other people and cuddling and such... But I hate it when other people touch me. The only people that can usually get away with it are my very best friends. :biggrin3:

I don't know if I've already mentioned this... But I have this weird fixation with tongues. (sw)

I hold hands with my friends. All the time. All of them. Guys, girls, everyone. But not at the same time. Holding hands with more than one person at a time always makes me feel really uncomfortable lol.

How Weird Are You

I have been called weird a lot but I don't get offended. We all have different habits, tastes and things we like to do that make us look weird. What people say to my face doesn't hurt me and I just let it go in one ear and out the other. It is like a little balloon that floats up out of my head and pops.

I require little sleep, as long as I get my 6 hours a night I am good. I don't take naps during the day.

I find a lot of things funny and they will pop in my head and I giggle even when nobody has said anything funny. If someone asks me what I am laughing about I say "nothing."

There is a certain word I get the giggles over just because it sounds funny to me when people say it. It is a common everyday word that people use all the time. Itstill makes me laugh though not as much as when I was little.

My fingers are somewhat double jointed and I can bend them back pretty far. I also have collapsible joints in my fingers and so when I type or play a piano or keyboard I can't maintain the correct position holding a ball. My old piano teacher told me that my hands looked like spiders. That didn't stop me from playing the piano. I can also bend my hand so that my thumb touches my arm just above the wrist. I know how to finger spell and some signs in sign language and when I sign I love you with my baby finger up my ring finger is up halfway.

I can't roll my tongue though so I never learned how to whistle.

Well I feel this post is long enough so I am going to stop typing.

This comes from WO's comment that she never cries at movies which I thought was weird but now wondering if I'm the weird one because I absolutely cannot detach myself from TV/films/books emotionally. I cry at pretty much EVERYTHING especially in shows that I love. If characters I love cry, I cry. I can't help it. I find myself always thinking of myself in that situation as well as feeling for the characters and that's it: floodgates open. But maybe it's not weird, good films and TV should do that. Right?! 😛

I am totally the same way!

Also:

I have to clean my room in a clockwise direction, otherwise I get discombobulated.

When I am packing for travelling, I have to gather items in the order that I use them in daily life, otherwise I'm worried that I'll forget something.

When I watch television, the volume number has to be multiples of 2 or 5.

My neck is very ticklish.

I hate when people touch my hair.

Wow, I sound like a crazy person. I swear I'm not!

This thread is awesome! 🙂

Uhm, well here are some weird things about me:

- I lucid dream regularly (best thing EVER).
- I have an obsession with ears, not like ears overall, but I love the feeling of earlobes. Lol.
- I hate the sound of someone chewing gum, even when I can hear myself chewing it.
- When I open a soda bottle, I HAVE to shut the cap as tight as possible. Sometimes it takes me ages to reopen it.
- I hate seafood, and I never eat any leftovers.
- If I'm in a place where the floor has tiles, I easily get distracted and will try to start counting all of them.

That's all I can think of right now. 🙂

I can't watch TV or a movie without eating something. I leave my TV on all day to just listen but if I'm actually going to sit down and pay attention all the way through, I need some kind of snack, lol.

I have a very weird train of thought, lol. I get called random because of it, but I guess it's just cause I think a lot so during a conversation, I end up thinking about one thing to the next and it seems so unrelated by the time I say it 😛 Basically my mind is like a game of Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon :lmao: you know.. without Kevin Bacon 😛

I like being cold, lol. I live in Georgia, and it's soooo hot. But we have an A/C that keeps it cool in our house. So I always put my fan in front of the vent & turn it on, to the point where it gets a little too cool and then I cover up with a blanket.

And when I get too hot, I get seriously irritable and downright whiny. In March, it was starting to get hot, but my dad said we couldn't run the A/C until Summer, so I ended up laying on the floor in front of my fan in the fetal position and whining over and over again :lmao:

There's probably more; I'm VERY weird 😛 But that's all I can think of right now 😀

Can't help lol at your post because I relate to so much of it. My favorite place to eat is in front of the tv and I really don't like to eat anywhere else. Besides I don't have a way of pausing the tv show so I can go somewhere else to eat. If I do on occassion eat somewhere else I am standing up because I am in a hurry and it will only take a few minutes to eat so it isn't worth it sitting in a chair only to be sitting there a few minutes.

I know somebody else who has to have a fan on blowing cool air in the face when sleeping, not me of course. You and this person could be twins as far as the fan goes. .:biggrin3:

Can relate to the dancing around the house I like to do it when i am all alone in the house, not a good dancer with cool moves I mostly two step and just move to the music. I can dance around a whole room and I love to twirl a lot.:biggrin3:

I was actually baptized in a Catholic Church when I was three... Yet I am an Atheist (I was Christian up until I was 9/10 though...).

Normality is just a point of view. Therefore, somewhat parodoxically, everything and nothing is weird. Pretty interesting, I think you'll find 😉

Everyone has their oddities. It's just a matter of how well you hide it (or if you choose to at all -- I don't. Life's more fun this way! :-D). In middleschool (way back in the day ;p), I always said, 'If normal is what most people are, and most people are weird, then that makes weird normal and normal weird and ME normal... Is that not WEIRD?'

I was an odd bird. ... Who'm I kidding? AM. ...and proud of it! I'll list some of my oddities in a bit. 🙂

Reading through this thread... Does anybody else think that BB is like some "true confessions" place? (sw) I mean, I certainly wouldn't tell a bunch of strangers the morbid details of my dark past in RL lol.

Actually... I don't even want to think about my childhood... I was an ABSURDLY weird child. Like, until I was 9/10, I was indescribably weird. I hate talking about it though, my impeccable oddity was certainly quixotic... I just like to pretend that it never happened. (sw)

Kelsey agrees: Come on, one story! Or ten. =P I want to know how one can be absurdly weird.

Ehh, it's too *ugh* to think about/talk about lol. I will tell you, however, I was a huge perv as a child. (sw) Always feeling people up, forcing my mom/sister to tell me gross, graphic, and weird stories about a "Mischievous Girl" who was always getting into trouble... Usually involving stripping and diapers on adults and such, trying to change people's (especially adult's) "diapers" (even though they didn't wear any.. UGH. I was always trying to pull people's pants down and such. (sw) ), stuff like that. I was very disturbing. And I had the nickname of "Gollum" for a while there... *Cringes* My childhood always makes me face-palm. 😀 I also was EXTREMELY sensitive, and would always have random breakdowns where I'd start sobbing for no reason whatsoever. If too many people LOOKED at me, I'd start crying. If I was afraid of making a mistake, I'd start crying. If somebody insinuated that I had a crush on somebody, I'd start crying. It was just... Really bad. And I never wore clothes as a child, unless I was in a public place like school. And all of this lasted up until 4th grade. 0.o

Hm... Are members allowed to post pics of their hands? (If so, then I'll totally show you guys the crazy thing that I can do with my fingers. 😀 )

I'm not mainstream at all (whatever that means) and I generally dislike Disney Channel and stuff like that. However, I *really* like Miley Cyrus. I think she's catchy and she makes me all smiley! 🙂

My watch completes me. It's not that I can't exist without it... I just feel naked. If I go out without pants or something: fine (accidentally typed "fun" Freudian slip?) but without a watch, I feel like I'm late for something or I'm forgetting something and the whole world falls into chaos!!

I hate when I instantly start spelling words incorrectly when I come online. Even some that I knew how to spell since elementary. It's weird that I suddenly forget but remember once I'm offline again. Am I trying to make myself sound stupid? ha ha
