How Weird Are YOU? :D

All of my friends think I am odd because I like my T.V. shows more than them jk, but they do think I am strange for how much I know about them and watch them as goes for movies.
I sometimes laugh a lot and a little spacey I have a tendency to do that when I am having a conversation.
I also am a little weird when it comes to locks I get a little carried away in the car and lock before some of the people that are with me open their door.
Don't know if those are to weird but I don't mind either way 🙂

What?! I am normal! How dare anyone say different 😛 ................ahhhhh who am i kidding we all know im weird lol
I have to have the volume on the television on an even number or i freak out and i also only half open pop cans and then sort of suck to get my drink out, don't ask me why i just started doing it one day and now it has become a habit :/

I find guys who read a lot to be totally smexy. 😉 It's a total turn-on lol. But at the same time I've always had a thing for people who look like they just stepped out of the hood lol. Like Ray J. 😉

Okay, I like shows and movies with grit. I've recently fallen in love with Fringe, I obviously loved Buffy and Angel, and my current favorite movies are District 9, Blood Diamond, Shutter Island (okay, so I also have a Leo obsession), and Inglourious Basterds. None of that's really weird, but here's my confession: I like disney shows.

Really! It's usually late at night, and only when I'm home from college. But every once in awhile I put on the Disney channel and just watch all of their shows. Throughout the past few years I've watched Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, and now I'm onto Sonny with a Chance. Oh, I also watch ICarly on Nick. They're obnoxious and campy, but for some reason I enjoy them! Maybe it's just the kid in me. I always feel so weird when I do it, though.

i think leonardo di caprio is ugly and has pig's eyes

definitely it's weirdness (according to my friends)

I wouldn't say weird. Just a bit different. Especially for being a guy. For good and bad. I could probably make a huge list but I'm not going to do that. But since we're on this specific board I can say that I'm not a vampire fan. I can like vampire characters but it's never because they're vampires, it's dispite being a vampire. 😉 People seem to assume that you love vampires just because you love Btvs and Ats.

Yeah, like, I love Btvs and Ats because the vampires that are actually characters have depth to them, and the monsters (Vamps, zombies, demons, etc) aren't there literally, they're just metaphors. So really, the shows don't revolve around supernatural characters, they revolve around life. Adolescence. Being an adult. Etc. 😀

that's why they are great shows IMO
Another one: I'm obsessed with Lady Gaga. Have been since my Freshmen year in college. Completely obsessed. I have a literal disco stick--as in, it's a glowstick with a disco ball on the top. I also have a cardboard cutout of one of the covers for the Fame Monster. I talk about her so much on Facebook people have hidden me from their feed, and I had to promise to tone it down. I always defend her whenever I see her being criticized; I can't not! I've looked up all her old songs from when she was Stefani Germanotta, I've done speeches on her in both English and Spanish, and if I ever found out where she was staying, I'd totally wait eight hours outside her hotel to meet her. Obsessed.

^ That IS pretty weird. 😀

Let's see... I've never wanted to get married. Not when I was little and not now. Whenever I say that people always say "Yes you will" and my GOODNESS it pisses me off! 😀 When I was younger my reasoning was kind of stupid, but now I know why I never will: Marriage is not about "Two kindred souls becoming one" or whatever else they say it's about; it's about the government. Marriage has certain "Green Card" benefits, true, but I'm planning on being wealthy. So that won't matter. 😀 Also, I'm pretty sure that I can be just as happy with somebody without being married as I could be if I did have the title of "Mrs". Really. I think that I could pull it off. Somehow. 😛

Also, if I DID get married, which I'm NOT planning on doing, I would keep my last name. I like my last name. (sw) And a woman giving up her last name when she gets married feels like she's giving up her identity, making herself her husband. And that seems awfully misogynistic to me.

I don't plan on dating 'til I'm in my twenties. At the very least.

I don't plan on ever having an alcoholic beverage. Alcohol is a drug, and I don't like the idea of consuming drugs. Like, no one in my family drinks, so I don't think that it should be very difficult to abstain from it. Lol.

I like 'oldies' songs. (sw)

Go you! Getting married is over-rated IMO :)

I think your hormones at some point will fight you on the dating thing. But good luck with both that and the drinking. At one point it doesn't matter much what your family do just your friends. So pick them well. ;)
  • I play Dungeons and Dragons with my dad and his 40-year-old friends (all men).
  • I'm a vegetarian. But I look back on bacon with much fondness.
  • I like staying up at night just so I can go outside and watch the sun rise on the swing in our backyard.
  • I am not a romantic person. If a guy gave me flowers, I'd smile and say thanks, but really being thinking, "uhg, now I have to find a vase!"
  • I'm really good at copying people's mannerisms like little facial expressions, speech patterns, movement, and occasionally their voices.
  • I don't cry while watching movies (except The Lion King).
  • I'm very good at first impressions when it comes to my sister's boyfriends. First time I met one of them, I just knew he was gay. Two years later... SURPRISE, SURPRISE! 😀 Also knew one of them was an alcoholic the first time I met him.
  • I love my extended family (aunts, uncles, cousins), but I don't think they like me very much since they wont talk to me at family gatherings. It might have something to do with my dad being the only atheist between his brothers and sister. They must think I'm an atheist too. I personally don't know what I believe, and don't get why I should have to rush to figure out what I believe.
  • I've had dreams about certain things before they have any significant meaning in my life, most recently about my grandfather.
  • Blood and gore (in movies and in real life. not that I've seen anything particularly gorey in real life) don't bother me. The only thing I can't stand is when someone has any kind of face trauma. I just can handle it.
  • I volunteered to watch an autopsy when I was 17. I had to leave after about 25 minutes, though, because I hadn't eaten anything that morning and with the face mask, hair guard, gown and gloves smothering me, I thought I was going to pass out. I felt embarrassed because people thought I left because I couldn't handle the body. Also, after I left the room and tore off my mask, I could smell the smell of... all that. I swear I could smell it for weeks afterward. Sometimes, I can still smell it.
  • My sister used to play this Sounds of the Ocean CD at night, and I was scared of the Killer Whale song. It was so eerie!
  • I used to be afraid of Yoda. I hid behind the couch every time he came on screen.
  • I'm afraid of aliens. I'm terrified of E.T. He is not cute. He's scary. Also, I couldn't finish Signs, which is a stupid movie anyway.
  • I am mostly attracted to older men. Not white-hair older men, just shmexy ones like Dr. Cox (Scrubs), Colin Firth, Giles, etc.
  • There are moments when my mind goes completely blank and I'm not thinking about ANYTHING. No words, ideas, or emotions. If I really had to explain it, I'd say "fuzzy strings." Unfortunately, whenever this happens in public, I tend to stare and not necessarily at people. Do any of you do this? I'm curious. My dad and sister think this is particularly weird because they say they are always thinking about SOMETHING. I think that sounds absolutely horrible. I like my fuzzy strings moments! 🙂

lmao "not white haired older men", what's wrong with a nice silver fox? ;P
I tend to judge people by their avvies. 😀 So if I don't like their avatar, then it's extremely unlikely that I'll like them.

The words "Man" or "Men" make me cringe. I always try to avoid using them. I think that it has something to do with those egotistical pricks that enjoy proudly proclaiming "I'm a MAN!" (sw)

I'm psychic. 😉 Lol, not really, but I have this weird habit of knowing what song is going to come up next on my ipod right before it comes on (and when my ipod is on shuffle) and knowing what I'm going to get, etc.

Washburne agrees: What about the guestion "Who da man?" 😉 No need to answer.

Oh, you know that I can't not answer it. 😉 Lol, well, I don't mind it as much in different contexts. For example: I always say things like "Hey, man" or whatever. Is that guy-ish of me? 😛 And using 'Man' as the shortened version of 'Human' is fine, it just irritates me. 😀

Tsquared agrees: I like your avy. (sw)

Really? 😀 I'm not so sure, my av is the most unattractive picture of Charisma ever. :biggrin3: Still, I LOVE her expression.. It's so... Condescending. (sw)

whaat? "one of the most unattractive" pics of Charisma? I think your av is lovely, I love it every time I see it. I think she's very pretty there :)
I love being alone. Not that I don't like being with friends and family. I just have to be alone at least 3-4 hours a day.

You must be an introvert then. 🙂 Which is actually pretty good considering that 60% of the people in the 'gifted' community are introverts. 😀

And I'm the same way. Like, I love hanging out with my friends, but in general I prefer being alone. I don't really know why, I'm just more content that way. 🙂
