How would they possibly bring back Anya?

^That's why the Scoobies don't trust Angel anymore.

I don't think they'll bring Anya back. Emma has said she's wanted her character killed off.

But I would love to see Anya back, not Tara though. Not the biggest Tara fan.

I don't care how she comes back, as long as she comes back! lol
Honestly though, I don't think they will bring her back. I just think that there really is nowhere else for her story to go.

The only way that might make sense is to have her brought back as Anyanka the vengence demon. Otherwise, she's dead, just like Wesley.

Anya should stay dead, I'm sick of dead characters being revived, it makes death meaningless. I love Anya, but she died, it's over. Same with Tara.

As much as I disliked the portrayal of (and Xander's lackluster reaction to) Anya's death, I agree. I would like to have her featured in a dream sequence or something, but definitely not a full-on revival.

I think it is possible to bring Anya back although how I do not know. It is the buffyverse afterall so people have a tendency to not stay dead. I did love the character of Anya so I think I would definitely like to see her back as long as she stays interesting.

I know it was Emma's choice for Anya to die, but I really wish she hadn't. Bringing her back in the comics would not only make my month, it'd probably make my year. I know it wouldn't happen, but we're being hypothetical; so I can dream.

I always thought it would probably work out that D'Hoffryn would have the kind of power to bring her back, and would decide to do so. Even though he 'fired' her from being a vengeance demon, it was quite clear in season six he cared strongly for her; althouh he tried to have her killed several times, I think he still cared and wouldn't be too happy she was dead. If he brought her back, he'd want her to be a vengeance demon again. The perfect way to bring Anya back; something vengeance-y.

Personally, I rather hope they don't bring her back. As much as I love her character (who doesn't?) bringing her back would cheapen her death. Constantly bringing back all these dead characters is just getting ridiculous.

Anya died bravely and as a hero, fighting for the human race. Let's just leave it at that.

I totally agree with this.
They have already done the suprise resurrection thing too many times.

But if they should do it against my recommendations I would also say that they should bring her back as a vengence demon.

If vengeance demon Anya was brought back, I wonder how the S8 cast would react? Would she be integrated back into the story or just appear for a bit, maybe give some closure in regards to Xander, and then leave?

To be honest, I'd be really disappointed if that's all they brought her back for. I think if she was brought back, hers and Xander's relationship would rekindle, since they clearly never got over each other. I'm not sure though, but I think if she was there; after she'd been dead, they'd both realise life was too short.
