Hi,
Im 21 and from Australia. I got turned onto this board by LifeIsJustThis who Ive been talking to on the Addicted to Buffy application on facebook, and if half the people here are as cool as she seems to be then we are gonna get along great!.
Firstly, while I have recently been posting on facebook, Im still kind of a newbie to the whole discuss your passions with total strangers over the internet thing, so please be gentle with me! lol. Im still getting use to people bashing you over the head if they dont like what you have to say. Ive only got a couple of friends who are into buffy like I am and they are nowhere near as crazy about it, so its gonna be great to discuss it with people who are as into it as i am.
Oh and thanks to the people who sent me msgs saying they like my username, I guess I really am brilliant....lol.

Really though, welcome to Buffy-Boards! It's awesome to have you. I can totally understand the whole "talk to people you don't know about what you think!" thing, I'm sure that you'll find your place soon enough. I like to think we're a pretty friendly bunch, and there's lots to talk about, which I found really helpful when I was new. You'll always find something that you can put your two cents in about, that's for sure!

If you ever need a hand with anything let me know! I can't wait to see you around BB :waves:

Welcome aboard. You'll find all kinds of great fun here and some really great folks to do it with. As for discussing your passions, as long as they're about Buffy and the gang, discuss away. We've all got the same passion here.

Yay! I feel loved!. Wow I did not expect to get replies so fast!. I do hope you guys arn't quick to "konk" people. Ive only ever been attacked once, I started a topic that was just for fun really, I asked if buffy had an 8th season, what do you think would have happened or what would you like to have happened?, not my best work but I was feeling wistful so I posted it. Some guy told me not to waste everyone's time and that I should go write some "fangirl crap", that the comics are the continuation and THATS THE WAY IT IS!.
I thought of some colourful ways to relpy to him, but in the end I just deleted the whole thing, the thought of getting into a bitch fight with someone half way across the world does not appeal to me, Im here to have fun.

Hey I distinctly remember saying "follow", NOT stalk. Now who's trying to scare people. Maybe she'll need me to KONK someone....(perhaps YOU *KONK*) and then she won't have to put up a Bat Signal or a Lou Signal or even purchase her own pan.
I'm being HELPFUL!

I wanna make her a banner, I'm bored. Don't you think with a quote like that she needs a banner?

Did I just get my first konk? I feel loved. :) But you know, "real" stalkers never say stalk. "Follow" has a more nice ring to it. Still kind of the same thing unless you´re a little puppy. ;)
