I guess I should've done this right off the bat...

My name's Fabiano, I'm from Brazil. English ain't my native language, and I don't really speak/write very well. Hopefully, y'all will be able to understand what I'm saying most of the time.

Anyways, I'm a humongous "BtVS" and "Angel" fan... I watched the movie first around, 1995 or 1996 and I kinda dug it (I was young [ish], mind you), so when the series started I decided to give it a go.

I was immediately hooked and blown away... have been a fan of the show ever since. So much so that, when I went to Los Angeles, a couple of years ago, the first thing I did upon arriving was going to 'Amoeba' to buy all the seasons I was missing.

I truly, deeply love this show. I'm a bit of a writer myself, although I write all my stuff in portuguese for obvious reasons, and it was Whedon and the Buffyverse that prompted my desire to be a writer.

What else can I say?

I don't really hate Dawn. I actually kinda like her.

I like Buffy/Spike more than Buffy/Angel. However, I don't really hate 'Bangel'.

My favorite seasons are 3 & 5.

I think that about sums it up for now.

Oh, btw, love the message board. None of my rl friends are into anything buffyverse.

I'm looking forward to meet y'all.

Thanks, I'm self conscious about it, I never really went to english schools, nor lived abroad... I taught myself, so, obviously, it's not as good as it could've been.

But thanks nonetheless. 😀

No problem! In fact, because you taught yourself, I'm even more impressed. I wouldn't have even known English wasn't your native language unless you said so. I mean, I don't how long you've been teaching yourself, but the words and phrases you've used like "right off the bat"...it's impressive 🙂

Welcome to the Boards! You sound pretty awesome..and your english is perfect(your grammar is actually better than mine lol!) I'm learning portuguese atm (slowly but surely) so I know how it is to learn a new language lol....anyways...welcome!
