I know in the chat a lot of virtual hugs get given but in real life are you a hugger or cuddler? Or are you someone you doesn't like that and feels awkward?

Here's a hug for anyone who feels in need of one 🙂

I don't really like touching other people. It makes me feel very uncomfortable and I'm not really close enough with anyone to do that.

I always give my dog a big hug when I visit home though.

I hug my boyfriend family and best friend but Im not someone that randomly hugs others. It makes me feel awkward.
 
I like hugs if they're from people I like haha. If a random stranger on the street hugged me...I might be worried that they were trying to transfer some top secret government disease onto me. Yeah, I'm slightly paranoid. But if I meet someone for the first time, and we hang out for a while, I wouldn't mind being hugged by them. I met someone who was from London and was visiting LA (she was a friend of a friend) and she was really nice and we talked and I only hung out with her for about 3 hours, but when I said bye to her, she hugged me and I was glad 😀 if she hadn't I wouldn't have notice or cared but I thought, "Hey, that's nice" after she did it. So if I feel that I connect with someone and that we could become friends, I don't mind being hugged by them.

When it comes to people I know and love, I'm like a hug machine. My parents find it kind of weird...but my one year old sister is cuddly 🙂
 
I usually greet friends and family with hugs and I love to hug my husband, but I'm not a random hugging person, there's a time and place, LOL. No, I love hugs and I get happy if people hug me, but for me I only do it as a hello/goodbye thing and more often with the person I'm in love with. 🙂
 
I'd hug my closest friends every time we meet or leave each other's company. I'd be a big hugger in regards my niece and nephew and much less so with my parents/sisters. That's kind of strange, but we were never a huggy family.
 
I'm definitely not big on hugging, like [MENTION=11103]PassionBecoming[/MENTION] said, I like my personal bubble and though I don't really mind (most of the time) if close friends or family hug me, I certainly mind when people I hardly know hug me or put their arm around me.
 
Im a hugger! Only with people I know though, Im not going to hug random strangers or anything.
 
I don't mind hugging my good friends and family but I find it a bit awkward to hug acquaintances/strangers.

I'm into cuddling at all; I like my personal space.
 
I love to hug and cuddle my lady friends! Not really my family members though, it just kinda strange and awkward 😛

I like a nice strong tight squeeze hug 😀

This, from start to finish.
 
kind of funny story... so when I was in massage school we did an exercise with this - the whole personal space thing, cause everyone's is different

so we'd pair off and be like 3 feet apart from our partner and then slowly step closer and closer and closer until one of you said "stop"...so for some people it was like 1 foot some farther....I didn't have a stop so my person was nose to nose. It was great.
 
I hug my boyfriend, family and close friends lots, generally as a "hello" and a "goodbye", however if I've had a few drinks I get waaay more affectionate haha.

I'm more awkward with virtual hugs, to be honest.
