We Just Got More Evidence That the 2 Human 'Sex Pheromones' Don't Actually Exist

When we talk about animal instinct, we're often talking about pheromones - chemicals that affect the behaviour of other animals, and make individuals irresistible to the opposite sex during mating season.

For decades, debate has raged over whether humans might also release and be susceptible to our own unique pheromones. But a new study has just provided evidence that the two leading 'human sex pheromone' candidates aren't actually pheromones at all.

What a total load of crap. When I was a lad it was known that human's were animals of the mammal kind. There was mention of animal magnetism but never of animal instinct by anyone apart from them.
The only one who debated such a thing was you and your kind and you took decades to get nowhere. As is now when a new study has shown you up to be thick. So how many decades will be used before they are proven to be wrong?

Is this article a joke? Double blind, neither the participants or the people conducting the test had any idea it involved pheromones, but they ask the people to determine how attractive they think the faces are, one time on their own and the next time with a COTTON BALL TAPED UNDER THEIR NOSE.

Yeah, that's pretty darn sneaky. I wouldn't suspect anything to do with scent/pheromones.

Here is my unofficial analysis on pheromones. I know the way a person smells affects my sexual attraction to them. I don't know which chemicals cause it, but I know it's a fact.

I have been physically turned off of some very attractive people by the way they smell. And I'm not necessarily talking BO. Could be their soap or laundry detergent. Could be just them, they don't smell "bad", like I wouldn't wrinkle my nose up and say "eww" they just smell a certain way that makes me not want to be close to them.

On the other hand, not especially physically attractive people I've been sexually attracted to by their odor. Sometimes even when I didn't actually LIKE the way they smelled. I still felt it affecting me. There are some people who's BO drives me buggy in a nice way even while I recognize that it's not a "nice" smell.

And there was one guy I worked with who was scary looking, a jerk, not very smart and I literally knew he was a rapist, but the way he smelled made me want to lick him all over. That was frightening.

So, I don't know the chemistry, but I am powerfully affected by it.
