Fav character(s), Katniss and Johanna. I also really like Peeta, especially in the books. I also really like Cinna, I can't believe no one has mentioned him. I actually love a lot of the minor characters.
Fav relationship: Katniss and Johanna. I'm still mad all their stuff got cut off from the final movie.
I prefer Peeta over Gale. I have a strong dislike for Gale, although I understand why he's the way he is. In his shoes I'd probably be just like him actually. But I admire Peeta a lot for being such a gentle soul in such an ugly world. He's so opposite of the typical male hero we see in the media, it's so refreshing.
Fav movie is MJ part 1, fav book is Catching Fire.
I think both boys should have ended with someone other than Katniss. I actually always got to impression that Katniss was on the spectrum of being aromantic (possibly asexual too). It could just be that it was really bad timing (with the games and all), so in that sense it's much more realistic than most YA novels. The last thing on Katniss' mind would be dating, but it also always felt like Katniss was not going to be happy with either of them. It felt like she was going along with it because that's what they wanted, not what she wanted. I do believe she loved both of them, but not in the way they loved her.
I'm a bit disappointed they made the love triangle into such a big thing in the movies, because it really wasn't that big of a plot line in the books. It was still there, but I'd say it was less of a focus.
