Where does Spike get his daily supply of blood in Hell-A? Maybe for the first few days, from local blood banks, but without electricity, there's no refrigeration, and even if there were, blood only stays fresh for a limited amount of time. So what's a hungry vampire to do? (For that matter, where did the fountain of blood at the Playboy Mansion in Issue 2 come from?)

Maybe blood runs like water in hell. Like in Prohecy Girl when the blood was on tap?

Blood flowing like water sounds like Draculon. Maybe we're gonna have a guest appearsnce by Vampirella. Then again, maybe she's in disguise as one of the Spikettes.
yeah like the chocolate river in Willy Wonkas factory.....

That. Looks. Like. Blood. I'm never going to be able to watch that scene again without thinking about rivers of blood now...

Never question plot, plot holes or continuity of plot. They will drive you insane.
Which is why I question them all the time.

Now, that said... with humans being rounded up and a general free-for-all by demon lords - the hospitals are abandoned and slaughterhouses most likely have new product. Maybe Spike instituted a give a pint to save your life entry fee. Perhaps his "bodyguards" retrieve it for him from places he'd rather not know about. Maybe someone at the mansion discovered a use for magic which transforms mountain dew into tasty bloodwine.

The give-a-pint-to-save-your-life thing sounds pretty reasonable. The Mountain Dew one, not so much. Now, tomatoe juice... color, texture, great with vodka. That might work.

I'm going to go for the last one. It just makes sense.
