Hunting for a music vid

Hey, all. Please bear with me as I'm new here and I have a bit of a story to tell.

Ok. Nearly a year ago, I was prowling around youtube for Buffy music vids and found one that was absolutely captivating. Unfortunately, the quality was low, but the editing itself was simply superb and the song was righteous! I bookmarked it and checked back a few times, but after a couple weeks a music vid protection group got ahold of it and had it banned from youtube. (Apparently the person who posted wasn't the one who originally made the vid, and being an AMV editor myself I appreciate their hunts.) Problem is, since it wasn't posted by the person who actually made it, there was no information on the song, original creator, or name of the video. All I know is that it was called "Resurrection" on youtube at the time and that it encompassed seasons 1-6 of Buffy, the opening starting out with her being rezzed.

Ever since it was removed, I've been hunting through youtube trying to find another copy or something with absolutely no luck. I asked the group that had it removed, but they didn't answer me on what it was either. This is where I'm hoping that SOMEONE can help me here: I've found a vid on youtube that is NOT the video I'm looking for, but... well, someone's been cheap, taken the original video I'm looking for and dubbed it over with another song. -_- I'm not thrilled about that, but I'm hoping if anyone who's seen the original sees it, they can tell me what in heck it is and where I can possibly find it! I can't post the link to the site, unfortunately, as I haven't made 15 posts yet. The video is entitled "Buffy Murder Music Video" (presumably would come up in the search on youtube) or you could just hit in the youtube url and follow it up with "watch?v=96Gm7tN8ipU"

how long is the video you're looking for? i may have an idea of the vid you're searching for, but as there are several buffy music videos out there with "resurrection" as the title, the time would be helpful. also, can you describe a plot for the vid, or maybe some scenes in it? because one of the "resurrection" buffy vids im thinking of is about buffy, and another is about willow & tara...

also, i forgot to add... you should try looking through the videos at the Buffy Music Video Database. the site is not quite up and running yet, it probably won't be for a while longer because it's under new ownership and they're just getting it all together. but that would be a site i would recommend checking 🙂

Hey guys.

The resurrection vid is definitely about Buffy, but doesn't focus soley on her. The video seemed to go like this...

Tiny snippits of Willow resurrecting Buffy, Buffy rises from the grave, walks around demon-infested Sunnydale in a daze until she gets to the tower where she died. Sitting there begins a massive flashback encompassing all five seasons prior to her death. It's incredibly fast-paced and has very flashy editing. I believe I've seen the resurrection video regarding Tara- this is definitely not the same video.

I've taken a look through the BMV database but as of yet haven't found anything. I'll take a look at vdoogle in the meanwhile.
