Hurricane to hit in New York!

It's all over the news. Hurricane Irene is to hit New York on Saturday. I hope everyone stays safe. I'm in Quebec for a week so we'll be getting lots of stormy weather since we're close by. :S
And @NY State Of Mind, I don't know if you're still in Florida, but stay safe, and same with everyone else!
 
Stay safe chaps, batten down the hatches and all that jazz. Hope it's not as bad as some of the previous hurricanes have been.

I hope everyone in NY stays safe when the hurricane hits.
 
I live in central New Jersey and we're currently getting hit pretty hard.

They kept me at work from 2:30pm til 12am. We had no power half the time, no customers, winds knockin shit over, and the highway our store is on is flooded and closed.

Yet we still had to stay there...

Good luck everyone, the tornado warnings in north jersey/south NY should pass by 5am and the worst of Irne should be over by 8am...
 
Only *NY State of Mind* gets a hurricane shout out?? What's a guy gotta do to get some respect around here??!!!!! 😉😛😛

Naaaaah, I kid, I kid. I'm sitting here listening to Mother Nature's ruckus outside my window here in Queens, NY. Sounds pretty rough, but nowhere near as bad as was first supposed for my area.
Hoping the rest of you NY peeps....and anyone else on this side of the world caught in this mess....get through it all okay. Ride it out, if you can. It'll all be over in two shakes of a lamb's tail. And I'm sure somewhere in the world a lamb is shaking it's tail as I type this, so there ya go.

The storm has now calmed down a bit, hasn't it? That's what I heard. I hope it will be over soon.
 
Here in boston it's warm raining and really windy. I went out and played in it. It was fun. 🙂

Yeah, but now it's getting ready to hit New England. We have lots of family there.

So be safe everybody, even Old Master lol! And [MENTION=2725]Hero[/MENTION], that's crazy, especially it can be the trip home that's dangerous!

Oh yea? Bout the same here. It's raining hard in Quincy. Winds are rough as well. It's not that bad but we are getting the end of the storm. I just hope we don't lose electricity like last years snow storm that had us out for a couple of days. I'm just worried about the Bahamas...they really got the worst of it. Hope everyone is okay.
 
Irene was such a pain in my jkajfkd;k;fkajl

It hit me twice! - when I was vacationing in PR and visiting the Fam, and when I returned to Home Sweet Baltimore to get ready for school.

It also delayed me from getting on BB since I got home! D:

(I'm just kidding! XD

I'm thankful none of my family in MD or PR were hurt, directly or indirectly, by the storm)
