I don't think so,Willow and Xander are her best friends and Giles is like a dad for her.Xander would have stoped Anya from doing it and Tara and Spike wouldn't have tried
 
I don't think she would hurt one of them. Like Giles said:

Ben: "She could have killed me."
Giles: "No she couldn't. Glory will remerge and make her pay for this messing. Buffy even knows that and she could still never take a human life. She's a hero, you see. She's not like us."

I think Buffy just mighta knocked them out or something.

But do you think Anya would've tried?
I understand what you mean, her motivations were in the right place, because she, out of everyone, really didnt want the world to end the most. But would she have been capable?
 
I don't think so..she changed alot and by doing that her friends might have turned back from her...
 
I think, that maybe just maybe, if given the right set of circumstances, Anya would have. She would've never been able to forgive herself, but she might have.
 
i think out of fear for her life she would have killed Dawn. She was so afraid of dying that she would have probably got very desperate. i could see Anya killing Dawn, but i think she would really feel alot of remorse about it afterwards.
