"Hush" has failed me!!!

But Hush is amazing 😱
Maybe one of the Halloween episodes? (NOT the Dawn boyfriend one though.)
Either the costume changing personalities or the haunted frat house?

I was thinking about giving him Surprise/Innocence. I don't want to give him Passion because I'm saving that shock for when (or if) he gets attached to the characters. What should I show him guys? He thinks Breaking Bad is the Buddha of television shows, and if you haven't seen that show, it's a very dark and bleak show. So should I give him some darker episodes? The Wish maybe? I need help!!! :eek2:

Might I suggest, The Becoming? I know that that's the one that got me hooked.
 
You know what? I think it's a toss up between Surprise/Innocence and Becoming. Because if he gets hooked at Surprise/Innocence, then all that tension would build up to the fantastic "Becoming", as opposed to back tracking, you know? God this is harder than I thought. :confused5

The Becoming grabs you by the throat and makes you just inherently wanna know how the F they all got there, whilst also peakinq an interest in wanting to know what happens next. Just my thoughts on it though. Your friend might not feel the same way I did when I watched it.

Graduation Day is the one that works for me! It worked both on me and when I tried to get someone else hooked on the show! Just try it...
 
The two episodes I think would be really good are Who are you? and This Years Girl, two conjoined episodes for the price of one. And then you can have the whole Buffy or Faith debate and perhaps lure him in that way?

The trouble with those is that they are crossover episodes with Angel, so unless you watch Angel you don't see the conclusion of those episodes. Personally I would go with an early season 2 episode, like Lie to Me or The Dark Age.
 
I started my friend off with some crap episodes (by crap I mean ones that NEVER would have reeled her in) when we were about 10 or 11 haha. However, I recently showed her Hush, Restless, and The Body and she loved them all. She'll never become a huge Buffy fan like me 😉 but she has a new found appreciation for the show.

Not that she'll ever admit it.
