Personally those two eps are ones of my favs on BtVS. They are both really unique, and I never get bored of rewatching them. They also happen to be both in s4(which I used to think was bad). Now my question is... Which one do you prefer? If you were going to a deserted island and could only bring one of them, which ep would you pick to watch for all eternity? 😉 I know it might be an easy choice for some people, but I'm curious on how many Restless fans there are on here.

Yes I'm a really big fan of Restless, and even though Hush is awesome, I'd pick Restless. Simply because most of the episode is centered on the core four characters of the show and it explore their mind and personality. It also gives us a view on where they're heading. The music is amazing, and the multitude of foreshadowing is exceptional! 😀
 
This is an impossible question. I like them both for different reasons. Both are beautifully done, but I like Restless more because of the foreshadowing it has. I like it because of all of the things I missed... and every time I watch it, I catch something new. Hush I love because it's just a crazy concept... a silent episode?? I mean.. huh? I don't know, I can't pick

Both eps are very interesting and do things that few other shows would ever even attempt to do, I have to go with Hush, just because of the creepy and funny aspects. Restless is a great ep but it only works in context with Primeval and the start of season 5, whereas Hush is probably the better episode when viewed by itself.
 
I lean towards Restless yet I'm not positive in my choice. I think it has a lot of comedic and poignant moments for each member of the large cast. Hush does, too, but on a smaller scale.

Actually, I'm going with Restless. Why? Men. And their ... sales.

I'm a Hush girl myself. Restless is great but Hush is amazing (I even like Riley in that episode 😱) I love the acting, Tillow, the Gentlemen are awesomely scary, and it's so much fun to watch the characters interact without speaking.

I just enjoy watching it a lot more than Hush.

Love epic Kitty Fantastico. Love Cheese Man. Love Spike's photo shoot. It's all good times.
 
Hush. I love everything about it... + the Gentlemen are so bloody creepy. Anyone who has their own little rhyme chanted by a child is creepy in my book 🙂

Hush, easily. I'm not a big fan of Restless even though it has its moments.

With Hush I could just watch Giles exposition scene with the overhead projector over and over again. 🙂

Although I admire the tenacity Joss had to make an episode like Restless, I've always found it difficult to watch for some reason. I think it just didn't sustain my attention. Hush, on the other hand, is one of the few episodes I can't rewatch that much because of how creepy it is. The Gentlemen really freak me out, but I love that. I also love the soundtrack to the episode. So if I had to choose it would be Hush, but neither is really my favourite episode.

Honestly, I hate "Restless". I think it's kinda stupid. LOL
I love the creepiness of "Hush". The Gentlemen are some of the best villains of the Buffyverse. Too bad we only got them for that 1 episode!
