Hush finally reran on FX, so I recorded it and will rewatch it frequently. It will also be my tool to get others addicted to Buffy. Anywho, that's a great episode; it still sends chills down my spine. Thoughts:

Oliva seems witty, but not really nice. I wonder what happened to her...maybe she'll be on Ripper.

Emma and Amber have definatley improved as actresses since their starts on Buffy. That's meant to be positive, not negative.

Joss dream sequences rock. Can't wait to tape Restless and watch it numerous times.

I've officially seen the first 102 episodes, plus a couple more from season 6. Yay me!

Even knowing what happens, that episode is still suspenseful as hell. I think I like it better than The Body, but barely, for rewatchability's sake. With the Body you can only bawl so many times while watching it.

Wanna blessed be...heh.

"As a psyche major, I'm qualified to go 'hmm..." Perhaps Riley's best line ever.

I missed Anya's graphic little hand gesture the 1st time around.

All in all, the best episode, at least in my opinion. Still haven't seen After Life, Entropy, Seeing Red, Gone, etc, but I still liked it.

Even though season 4 kinda blew, it did have some quality eps. The Initiative, Pangs, Something Blue, Hush, Restless....

Mine too, it had so many funny moments, whilst still being one of the creepiest eps - those Gentlemen were freaky looking, and down right scary.

I think it was a brave move to do the majority of the episode without any talking at all - the scene where Buffy is demonstrating the whole 'stake them' thing was hilarious, along with Anya's delightful way of asking Xander to go and have sex with him was priceless 'lol'

Classic stuff.😀😀

I think the background score was excellent! Especially the creepy music playing when Willow and Buffy started to realize that they couldn't speak. Plus Buffy's scream at the end was a rush!

the scene with Giles showing the others the plan is one of the best scenes ever on Buffy. 😀
hilarious stuff.

Ooh that episode was freaky!!

Can't even laugh,
Can't even shout
The Gentlemen are coming by.
Lookin in windows,
knocking on doors
They need to take seven and they might take yours.
Can't call to Mum,
Can't say a word.
Your gonna die screaming but you won't be heard!

Now how freaky is that rhyme? It scares me.... *lol*

I loved the way they sang this, but kinda creepy and funny becaus enobody could talk and they used boards

It was the little girl that sung it that freaked me out, it was just all so weird!

This episode was so great. It scared the heck out of me when Olivia saw one of them standing at the window of Giles his house and that rhyme.. brrrr.
My mother had a nightmare after she saw this episode.

"Hush" is my favorite episode of Buffy...as you can see. It was so freaky, yet so cool. It mostly scared me when The Gentlemen floated around waving their fingers with those huge smiles. They were so creapy!😱

"Hush" was nominated for an award for the best music in a written series, or somthing like that. I though the music was wonderful. It made the whole episode a lot more dramatic and creapy. It added more emotion to the whole thing!:: tu ::

Yeah, it's freaky, but it's wrong! Silly, this is how it goes:
Can't even shout
Can't even cry
The Gentlemen are coming by
Lookin in windows
Knockin on doors
They need to take seven
And they might take yours
Can't call to mom
Can't say a word
Your gonna die screaming but you won't be heard

Thanks Kris for making that clear for everyone😀
I knew you were a little upset; knowing that you live and breathe for this episode. I just watched it last night, and I still had to close my eyes. I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares. I was scared the most when they were chasing after Tara. Now, that's enough to make you piss your pants. By the end of the episode, I was screaming with Buffy to make them go away.😛

Hush was so cool. The Giles explaining stuff sequence made me laugh. But the first discussion between Buffy and Willow ( "OMG, I've gone Deaf" ) was one of the funniest bits imo, especially since it was followed by Xander phoning to try and relay what had happened 😀.

I liked the part when Anya fell asleep on the couch and Spike is kneeling down next to her when Xander walks in and thinks he is sucking her blood. It was funny when they started to fight. The whole discussion thing with the overhead was funny too!😛
