Yes, I think that scene was really great! With Dracula being a character of fiction, you would expect Dracula to be fictional in the show as well, and so does Buffy. I think it's hilarious how surprised she is that Dracula actually exists.
But I think Dracula was way too tame and harmless in this episode. It was quite a challenge to beat him in the end, but in my opinion, he should stand above it all, he should be mightier than every character from the Buffyverse, because, after all, he's Dracula. However, he should have let Buffy 'win' and then he should have disappeared, never to be seen again, just to show them that he was real. The episode kind of ridiculed him. Pity.

I didn't like anything about that episode. Dracula was boring and lackluster. He didn't have that charm and charisma Dracula was known to have. There was nothing endearing about him. I found it hard to believe that anyone would fall under his spell. Unless the episode as a whole was meant to be a joke. The only scene I liked was when Giles fell into the room with the 3 ladies.

Getting into the episode, I was going to be honest with myself. The guy playing Dracula wasn't going to be as good as Christopher Lee

I actually really liked this episode. Yes the Dracula guy wasn't as good as previous incarnations of him, but if you don't compare them and just focus on the episode, to me it works. I thought that line was funny, showed the normal side to Buffy that you kind of missed out on in Season 5 a bit.

I'm reading S8 for the first time right now, and I'm actually finding I like Dracula a lot in the comics. His dynamic with Xander is totally ridiculous, but pretty funny.

I didn't really care that much for Dracula. Although the show's take on the legend of him I found pretty funny. Mostly what I love about this episode is that Buffy has become so interested in the darkness of her power.
