Pretty good at GIMP and I wanna post my stuff...I am not a techy person so what do I do? Ya know to get the actual image on the box where i say things. I have a feeling it has something to do with that INSERT IMAGE thing (duh)..but I'm lost.

there are two ways to do it.
One: click on the icon that looks like a landscape picture and copy and paste your image url.
Two: type
the first one's easier, it will put the image code fot you

Yea I tried that..but where do I find the URL on GIMP?

You'll have to save the image as a .jpg or .png and upload it to a hosting site like Photobucket first. That'll give you a url to insert. 🙂 Photobucket even give you a ready formatted

Did you save the image in a compatible format? I haven't used gimp in a while, but I think it default-saves to a weird format. Try saving it as a .jpg or .png instead. 🙂
