I am very confused about the comics.

I no nnothing about comics and only recently discovered that there were comics explaining what happened after the TV show ended.

I want to get all the after the fall issues but i am just so confused as to which ones to get.

i have looked on tfaw.com and i have found most of the issues, but there are so many variant covers and what not, and all the comics are different prices and i jsust want to know where i can just simly buy all the issues without all this confusement haha.

If anyone can help me i would greatly appreciate it.
 
ebay after the fall. Cover variants are just that, variants on the cover, the issue is still the same. Prices change based on 1st editions or not. If you just want to read them, just buy whatevers cheapest.
 
IDW is really screwing up by not getting some trade paperbacks out there. That's where the real money is for comics publishers.

ok i will try and get them off ebay, hopefully i can find all of the issues.

I don't see any sign of the paperbacks yet... but honestly, those are pretty damn reasonable prices for 200-page hardcovers. The paperbacks probably wouldn't cost much less than that.

The hard covers are great value - they are very pretty, very well made and very durable. I hate it when my TPBs give way at the spine and the pages come loose. That is very annoying. I wish Buffy came in hardcover too.

Didn't they release limited number of Buffy Hardcovers?

Personally I kind of envy you Frketson. I wish I had the patience to get to read one full arc my first time through them.

Just FYI, each arc/book that collects a few issues is about equal to a single episode.

Even if you don't, the rest of us had to wait at least a month between issues (in some cases far more than that), even if you read a whole arc over 3 weeks you'll still be doing better than everyone else.

yeah its good, i will hopefully try and read Vols 1 and 2 within a very short space of time, fingers crossed it doesnt make my brain explode.
