I can't give rep points

Whenever I try to give rep nothing happens, almost like I am clicking on something that is not even clickable in the first place. I've tried it in a few threads to no avail. :s

I'm glad it's not just me! It was driving me crazy that I couldn't rep people, but I assumed it was my work internet connection.

It hasn't happened to me too much. Maybe a few times. But by the next time I log in again, it works.

It's the same with me. But it's not just rep, I can't click anything that has a kind of dropdown box style thing going on. Like the links along the top don't do anything either. I can give rep if I right click and 'Open link in new tab...' but it takes you to another screen to do it instead of opening the box it usually does.

Yep I have the problem too but when I open the rep in a new tab with a right click instead it works!!!

Which internet browser do you use or were you using? I was having the same problem the other night but others weren't so it's not a board problem. I was on IE when it wouldn't work but its fine on Chrome.

Yes, it would appear it's a browser issue, as I usually have some odd board occurences using my Opera browser, including sometimes not being able to give Rep.....but have little problem using Firefox.

I use chrome and I have delayed issues with giving rep. I click and have to wait a while for it to load.

That's probably it. I use internet explorer which I've been told seventy thousand times that I shouldn't use 'cause there's always issues. This is the first I've had though! I guess I'm just too lazy to move to Firefox or Chrome... 😛

Just want to say that I just updated to IE9 and my karma is once again working.

For me sometimes the rep icon doesn't come up and when it does I left-click on it and it doesn't do anything. However I tried right-clicking and then selecting open-link and it went to a separate page where I may be able to give rep, so I'll try that, I don't know if that helps anyone else aswell, although its a bit of a roundabout way to do it. 🙂

I've been having that issue too, I'm glad this was brought up because I thought there might have been something wrong with my computer.
