The best thing to do is just lurk around the forums... look at all the posts/topics, etc. Learning what each forum is helps, such as Inside Out is the forum for buffy/angel posts that don't fit into seasons. Look around! 🙂 You'll get the hang of it eventually.

Aw bless! I don't know many here either so you're not alone! :)
read the faqs, lurk and ask questions if you don't understand anything.
there are alot of people who are nice and willing to help.
