Looking back on the thread I can't say that many of the people who said that they didn't cry were out and out Spuffies. So, lets roll back on the finger pointing, the last thing we need is Bangel vs. Spuffy take 51762181. Truth of the matter is, I didn't cry either. Not at the gif, not even at the show. I don't think anyone can say that I am not completely invested in this ship. Well, I suppose they could, but they've be very very wrong. I don't believe crying at emotionally trying scenes ought to be the barometer to which we measure how moved any given fan is by their ship.

While I agree with [MENTION=10354]VisionGirl[/MENTION] that this forum is a place where B/A shippers can come to shamelessly indulge their fandom without accusations or justification, I also feel like we need to remember that sometimes indulging that fandom means not having positive things to say about B/A. Sometimes my fandom involves me talking about the ways B/A has annoyed me, or let me down. That's cool too, once everyone is respectful to the fact that B/A is still the best ship of all the ships 😉

Now, lets get back to the really important things, like how Angel's lip pouts just so in this gif. *stares*

I only tear up for this scene. I never bawl my eyes out. But I do bawl my eyes out for IWRY. They had it all . . . and then they lost it! Buffy got her happy, and then she lost it 🙁

Probably the most heart-breaking moments of the entire franchise. I love that episode, but just like "I will remember you", it gets me every single time.

These final moments in Becoming 2 and final moments in IWRY are the most sad, heart wrenching and tragic moments in Bangeldom. Every time I watch it I want to change the ending because It makes me too sad to see Buffy killing Angel. I bawl my eyes out. Buffy having to do that was so traumatic which is why she ran away after. Both moments will live long in the saddest partings in film or television.

I can't cry over the gifs but I sure have memories of crying the first time I saw that scene. Best season finale in my opinion.

Even though I love Bangel, I didn't actually cry tears. It is so sad and heartbreaking though same with IWRY. It gets me on the verge of tears but I don't actually cry. I agree you don't have to cry to be invested or feel sad. I tend to not be very expressive with my emotions, people tell me this all the time, but that doesn't mean I'm emotionless. There is one show that does make me cry, Cold Case. Every ending is just so sad and tragic it brings me to tears, even just thinking about it.
