i was rewatching S1 yesterday and apart from it being a rather creepy eppy and a good one the set used for Melissa's apartment and the outer interior i swear they were the same one's used for the Hyperion..?
any thoughts..?
 
I noticed that too. I think the exteriors are the same except maybe they did a few things to change it around, like make it bigger for the Hyperion or something.
 
Yep. It was the same location.

Los Altos Hotel
In Angel episode I Fall To Pieces, we see the courtyard of Melissa Burns' apartment building. The same location (the Los Altos Hotel in Los Angeles) was used as the courtyard of the Hyperion Hotel in later episodes.

Doyle called Cordelia "princess" -- wonder if that was meant to be a preview in reference to to her stint in Pylea as their princess. :queen:

Doyle just had a painful vision. Which makes me wonder... later on we have that episode where we learn how badly the visions affected Cordelia, supposedly because she was fully human and once she told the demon Skip to go ahead and make her part demon they were painless after that... but why would part-demon-Cordelia get them pain-free but not half-demon-Doyle?
