someone finally convinced me to get a facebook thingy.. now I am utterly lost at what to do, but hey.

I have Facebook. But I think I'm getting tired of this social networking game of hide and seek. I want to cancel.
 
I still really do not understand but hey.. I just dont get it, I really dont!
 
Just wait until you start getting inundated with requests to add features or applications, join groups, etc. XD

thats why i didnt put my real name nor any info! hahah I may not have done it before but I am far from a newbie
Just take your time and don't accept loads of friends requests. It bombards you with updates, but it's handy to check in with people you don't want to lose contact with, yet not be emailing all the time either. It's the most conversation I've ever had with my cousin. But I also watched a very bizarre Superpoke war that a friend had - she didn't realise how often it updated people on her budding relationship.
 
I'm on facebook constantly. It's the best way to stay in touch with people from around the state/country that I know of. And nobody my age emails anymore. haha.
 
It's pretty complicated, but once you get the hang of it it's pretty nifty. I use it to keep in touch with people in school. Also, it's nice to be Google-able (is that a word lol) so if someone is trying to find you, they easily can.

Hey, this gives me an idea.

What if we had a Facebook group for Buffy-Boarders? That way we can keep in touch on there , too! Is there already one of these? Would people be interested in joining? Because if so, I can make one 🙂

Yeah, I know the feeling. It's a lot to keep up with. I deleted my Space for this reason. Basically, I just have this account, a personal email, a school/work email, and a Facebook. I belong to the Buffy Forum and *********, but I don't post often. This place is my true love. 🙂

I got like 40 emails to join something I've never ever heard of.
 
I love facebook. I like seeing funny pictures of people I know and keeping up to date with what they're doing (its not stalking I swear(sw)) But I have too many friends now. I dont keep in contact with all of them, I feel guilty.

Yes, that´s what I do too. Keeping up to date. Absolutely not stalking. 😉 It´s nice to know what happens in peoples lifes even if you don´t talk to them that much anymore.

I very rarely use facebook to communicate with people nowdays. That´s why I more or less have stopped adding people (asking them) they have to ask me instead. Not like I mind doing that way but it´s not often I start.

As for all applications and groups I don´t use them too much. The trivia in some "Addicted to..." and some groups to get news and have the ability to check in once in a while but I´m not a poster in any of them. It´s just to ignore all that stuff if one wants to. I do use some applications from time to time. The birthday calander is one I like.
 
I have facebook and myspace and yeah facebook is confusing at first!
I generally go of the news feed and scan and see what people have been up to but that makes me feel like i'm spying on people! I don't use any of the apps and really use it to see pictures and add people i haven't seen in ages.
