I finally watched "Dr. Horrible"...

It's so awesome, and i love the cheesyness between cap hammer +dr horrible. Ive had the songs+dvd from almost day one. I love it 😀

I can't rewatch it... Felicia Day's singing makes me want to pull my hair out and eat it.

haha, yeah Felicia is a little toooooo overrated imo. People probably think she's underrated, but no she's just kinda annoying in my eyes. She even annoys me in Dollhouse now :/

THANK YOU. I don't know what why people think she's so great... I thought she was alright and kinda cute on BtVS as Vi, but I didn't care for her in "Dr. Horrible" and I don't like her enough to watch anything else she's been in. LOL

Personally I feel reminded that I really need to by the D Horrible soundtrack!
 
I've been meaning to come to this thread and see what was up. I can kinda understand not liking it your first watch. My first watch I was in love because I was in a mood where I was really obsessed with NPH and my friends had played Freeze Ray for me in the car the day before (without knowing I was about to watch Dr. Horrible which was kinda funny) and I actually was able to sing along. It was actually what made me say "Ok, now I HAVE to watch Buffy." (I had been thinking about doing it for a while because it had ties to a lot of things I love but this was the final straw). Then after I watched OMWF I wanted to re-watch Dr. Horrible to really memorize every song because it was a musical Joss did. I found I didn't like it quite as much my second watch. But then I watched it again with a friend (who had only heard Freeze Ray) and we both LOVED it that watch.
 
As for Felicia Day I really like her. Not because I think she's the greatest actor or singer. She just have that charm. And The Guild isn't making things worse either. Silly, cheesy and I don't care for gaming but still need to watch.
 
Hrm. Like zobo - I couldn't resist coming in her to see if you were being serious or not when I hovered over the title and saw that you weren't impressed.

It's okay not to like it - I loathe Dollhouse, and that's my thing. Whatever!

I have to say though that I adore Dr Horrible! NPH is hysterical in it. Felicia is as cute as a button and Nathan is so brilliantly despisable! I thought in general that it was well made, funny, clever and self aware. Definitely different as well which I respect. I wish Joss Whedon would take more risks like this.

You're not alone! I don't dig it, either! The appeal is lost on me, I found there to be much camera-mugging by the actor's and the musical aspect of the story throws me off. It get's so much love but I'm sorry to say I can't be an ambassador with the masses - just don't get it. This was the first time I realized that I cannot - nor do I have to - enjoy all of Joss's work.
 
I still say ya'll are crazy for not liking it! But to each his own. As for Felicia Day...how could you not like her in it!??? This confuses me so. I hear rumors of a second one coming up. If this is so, hopefully FD's character will be in it again and she will be further developed. And if there is a second one, i'm soooooo gonna watch it!

But yeah I got it cause the girl at my dvd store was a huge whedon fan and she convinced me to buy it and I love it. It's so funny and Nathan Fillion is awesome!

I know this duh! I'm not a blonde. I kinda want her to come back to life. It would make it so much more awesome. Have Willow bring her back 😉 SHE NEEDS TO COME BACK!
