The other morning I woke up after a wonderful dream in which Serenity 2, 3 and 4 got made as direct to DVD movies and all was good in the world, realized it was just a dream and was bummed the rest of the day. I don't know why this kind of thing doesn't happen more often.

They have made I believe 2 direct to DVD movies for the Stargate series, the most recent including a return of Richard Dean whatshismcgyver. Highlander got a direct to DVD movie and there have been others.

So in case any higher up, powers that be, film studio execs, sicophants and or hangers on just happen to browse these forums, I, on behalf of my selfish self and in the name of (I assume) the majority of Joss Whedon fans, particularly those of Firefly and Serenity do declare that;

WE WOULD BE MORE THAN HAPPY WITH A DIRECT TO DVD CONTINUATION.

PS. And we'd also accept any reasonable continuation of Buffy or Angel as well.

The same could be said for direct to DVD movies featuring any or all of the characters of "Buffy" or "Angel." At this point, I would even settle fir a movie about Willie the bartender, just as long as it's good.
