Can someone please show me the ropes? I love reading forums and have posted a couple of times, but my online skills are limited. Also acronyms baffle me 😛

I'll probably post randomly on really old threads that I've been reading through and want to chip in on so apologies in advance 😛 I also tend to overuse emojis 😀

Welcome! No one here seems to mind contributing to old threads (unlike many sites I am on). Most of the time when I use acronyms, I spell them out, but the moderators here tend to frown on acronym use for good reason - people who are used to American car ad disclaimers may use YMMV (your mileage may vary) which is used to mean your experience may be different from mine. Since this is a worldwide forum, a lot of members would not understand that.

If you believe you overuse emoji's then you have the right to reduce your usage, but I have never seen anyone called out for that on this forum.
