So, whenever I go out with my friends I tend to drive. It's just a given that I always drive. Some do have cars but they somehow never drive when we go out. I started to notice that if they do decide to drive somewhere they don't even bother to ask me if I want to go with them. They either don't invite me or if they do they'll tell me "maybe you can meet us". How do I go about this? Should I confront them? 😕 It's just really annoying. Especially since gas prices are effing nuts!!

Whenever my friends and I have a problem with each other we let each other know, we work it out and we get past it. That's why we're still friends and it's how relationships work. The people that are so offended by you raising the issue, that they walk away from you, aren't your friends and are upset that they've been rumbled because they in fact were taking advantage of you driving.

See, I wanted to rep but apparently I've done that too much, so:

This is a perfect answer. Everything Jodast said is totally right.

What Jodast said basically. Things need to be fair and if they are not and its not been agreed and arranged then its basically wrong. You're guna have to confront the situation when it turns up next, say to them maybe you can meet me there instead of giving them a lift.

I would let them know, obviously when you bring it up try to do it in a none "confronting" sort of way if that makes sense. Drop them the line that they often do it and you feel left out, or don't appreciate having to drive here there and everywhere all of the time.
