Hi Guys
How are you?
Okay I need your opinion on something, I am going to do something different with my hair I have decided it official, I juts need to know what? At he moment I have black hair, and I was thinking of dying so it's like Beyonce's or Jennifer Lopez, I need to have opinion of people. Maybe you lot can help me by posting pictures or just giving ideas and hints. At the moment I can't find a good Picture of Jennifer Lopez with her long hair.

go jet black, that is totally sexy, maybe jet black with bright red hightlights, just don't go purple cos thats my thing : smash :
 
Thanks for the reply Faldor, and no thanks for the reply One eyed Xander However I can't exactly dye my hair black as well my hair is already black.
And by the way One eyed Xander I want something different not corny. I know you like that sort of thing One eyed Xander but not me.
I was thinking myabe a layered cut
 
maybe you should go to a reputable hair dresser...and let them work their magic...they work with your facial features and shape of your face...

OK, coming from me, the irony is just unbelieveable, but if you are looking for a hairdresser, get one that has actually gone to school and got their papers as a hairstylist...it is a certified trade, at least here in Canada. There are so many hacks (HA!) out there, you need a good stylist, not some the beautyshop equivalent of a backyard mechanic...a good hairstyle can make such a difference...trust me, you don't know what you've got till it's gone...😉
 
Yup... listen to kd and Gasm Landers here. They know what they're talking about. I go to a hairdresser that's got papers. She does a great job with my hair. She listens to what I want done with it and makes a few suggestions here or there on how to change it without it being too drastic. That's what you need.

I've been to a backyard apprentice hairdresser type before. I said "take 3 inchs off my hair please!" I could've sworn it was closer to 3 feet off when she'd finished. Not a good experience.
 
Hmm.. this is a tough one. i think it depends on what you're looking for. i love the way that J-lo has her hair, but also the black can be just as hott. Maybe you should try putting some red streaks, or go j-lo's color and then get low and highlights... i know that's what i'm going for the next time i dye my hair..... yeah.. hmm... i don't think i helped at all! but i like typing so it's all good.

That's the colour I have my hair now..it's sort of a metallic honey blonde - all kinds of highlights.

Firsly, YES go to a stylist. They know what they are doing and most importantly, if you don't like it, they will tweak it for you until you do.

It would be nice as your hair is naturally dark - you won't get CRAZY unnatural roots but it's still dramatic. I've had mine both ways.

But I don't really need a haircut as of such I need to do something different. I am happy with the size of my hair, I just need a style and thats where the dying comes in. I was thinking maybe this.

It's nice! Sort of reminds me of a Jesica Simpson 'Do. If you don't mind roots, I'd say go for it!
 
Once I get some more length on my hair and get it layered the way I used to have it, I really want to do the Kelly Clarksonesque highlights...

the most important thing you can bring...is your date...but...you can go two directions...

1st direction...show up...with arm candy...be envy of all gurls...but probably have a boring night

2nd direction...kinda hard if you can't find one...find a nice guy...that's just happy to go with you...but is also falkin hilarious...so that way...you may not end up envied by other gurls...but...you'll have a great night...


the main thing is to...have fun...don't stress on the looks so much...

The dress is nice, but the models' hair in that pic leaves much to be desired. Her look from the neck up really downplays how glamourous her dress is.

I'd suggest an updo preferably over flowing with curls. That way you can really show off that gorgeous neckline.
