I suppose I like ya! I checked, your not on the PITA list.
As far as religious views? I'm not sure how it fits, but okay.
I'm a very BAD Catholic. I suppose I mostly believe in Heaven, or that our "souls" go someplace happier. And I DO believe in ghosts and that doesn't work well if you believe you just die and are gone.
I may believe in God. But, not in the generally accepted sense. In fact, I'm more with the Mayans that Aliens are "God". When you think about it, it works with the Christian Bibles too. Those commandments? Could have been left by aliens just like the Mayans and Indians got left stuff from "The People From The Sky". Also explains how Mary got pregnant. Lots of people claim they're impregnated by Aliens.
There is a special place in my heart for Jesus. I think he was an AMAZING guy. I believe enough of the Bible to believe the man existed and that his teachings are good enough to be followed. Everytime I start thinking more than that I get the giggles about my Bible Banging Step-Mother-In-Law who is SO against unwed people having babies and how it's "against Jesus" and I just can't help but think, "You know, I wonder how many pregnant teens would LOVE to tell their parents that GOD did it. You couldn't just admit to having premartial sex back then. Wouldn't it be kind of funny to, one day, find out that this WHOLE mess and all this hate was based on a girl who was too scared to say she had sex before she was married?" Heck, Joseph took it AWFUL well, didn't he?
All in all, I can follow it all right up to the point about Jesus being God's son, then I get the giggles and then past that to, whether he was or not, he did a BANG UP JOB living up to his reputation.
All religions seem to advocate treating others well, admitting to your own shortfalls, and trying your hardest to spread good to others. I believe in something bigger than myself, but I try to keep myself from giving that an actual name.
