She's hilarious (fear of bunnies and all), and the way she talks and acts is just great. Anya and Xander make an amazing couple too. From what I can tell, most people agree.

Anya's amongst my favorites. I think it's 'cause I can relate. ;-D I'm not so good with the tact... and I just speak plain awkwardly... The things most people keep inside, nope... Not me and Anya! 😛
 
Anya is definitely a fan favorite. She ended up in a completely different place than where she began on the series, but I think most people think Anya is both adorable and hilarious and liked her with Xander a lot. 🙂
 
Aw, and here was me thinking I had my own fan thread...🙁 😛 Anya is an amazing character; I weirdly relate with her, and I think she's just a great character in general; funny, yeah, and I love the amount of character progression she has from season three to seven; I know a lot of people who don't like her as a character (Which is just plain crazy...) but I definitely agree that she's an amazing character (Well, of course I do xD), and she and Xander are amazing together. I enjoy sharing my love for Anya; she's just a wonderful character, I don't get how people can dislike Anya.
 
Yes, if any two people were perfect for each other it was Anya and Xander. They're a great 'ship. Spuffy is the only couple I focus on, but I also love Xanya and Tillow.

What part of Season 6 are you on? Be careful for spoilers around here! If you're anything like me, you don't like getting spoiled.
 
Anya's cool and she was the love of Xander's life. Very sad when she dies in "Chosen". And she's very amusing too.
 
I especially love her in season 4.
She's just hilarious and outshine the regular cast at times. Love it. 🙂

I love Anya she added a lot to the show her humor was always different. Plus overall she grew a heck of a lot. 🙂
 
I really didn't like Anya at first but then she just grew on me. I love her fear for bunnies and she was just great in the Body(with the whole not knowing how to react thing).

Same here. And her monologue in The Body is probably my favorite Anya scene.
My thoughts on Anya

At first, I hated her. I was like "Anya, you are annoying and go away." then I watched Buffy again and was like "AHHAHH ANYA IS SO FUNNY!" but I love how much Willow hates her... and how when Spike is brainwashed in season 7 and addicted to human blood and tied up in the chair... Willow says very casually "Want me to kill Anya?" And Buffy says "Nah... we should probably wean him off the human blood." As if if she didn't need to wean him off human blood she'd be like "sure. I don't care."
 
Anya is definitely on my top 5 list. I was annoyed with her at first, but not for very long. She was one of the few characters that developed and grew for the better. It really made me happy knowing that subconciously, she did love all the scoobies and wanted to understand them. Plus, she isn't very different from the scoobies. she has her dreams and her fears just like any other person of the group which really made me respect her character. I mean, look at her thoughts of men. Even after the whole Xander leaving her fiasco, she still loved him, and him to her, and she died defending him and the scoobs.

Not to mention she is hella hilarious!

I gotta admit, many times I would find myself watching BtVS just to watch Anya. Even when she was evil she was fun to watch.
 
I love Anya's brand of humor. To me she's the funniest character in the show. Her character went out in a very unglorious fashion but she did get to live a long time.

"Willow's a demon?!"

"If you love men so much, go love men!"

"What am I, a leper in this town? I can't even give it away!"

"Men are evil. Will you go with me?"

"Thank you very much for those nightmares."

Anya really irritated me initially (I started watching Buffy from Who Are You in season 4), but as I've progressed through season 5, and 6 in particular, she really has started to grow on me and is now my 2nd or 3rd favourite character. I felt so sorry for her when Xander left her at the alter, and as I now make my way through season 7 (I just finished Selfless and I loved it!), the knowledge that she's going to die really saddens me. IMO, her and Xander belong together. They are better than Xander/Cordelia and undoubtedly better than Xander/Dawn. RIP Anya. I haven't even reached the episode of your death, but already you are sorely missed.
 
Something I forgot to clarify in my initial post. My first run through of Buffy Anya was like one of my least favorite. Then I watched it again and I love her so much
