I see Fred and not Amy

I'll admit I'm not a fan of the Angel series, but I can't look at a picture of Amy without connecting her to the shy, awkward and whatever else she was Fred from the Angel episodes I did see.

No other actor does that for me.

I see SMG and I don't see Buffy...you get the point hopefully.
 
I know what you mean I do the samething with Giles, He is on a series called Little Britian, a comedy sketch show, and he is always making jokes and stuuf and I still see him as Giles!

I know, it's the same for me. If I ever met Amy Acker in real life, I would have some serious trouble with calling her Amy, and not Fred. To me, she is and will always be Fred.
 
I completely agree, Amy will always be Fred to me.

I also know what you mean BEG, I can't watch little britain without seeing ASH as Giles. The thong insident was not nice!!!

lol i know what you mean its so hard to think of Amy as Amy and not Fred. Cause i see her as this shy type and then i'll look at a pic of her from like maxium or something and its like its not supposed to be that way. She's to shy lol
 
Its like nicholas brendon and james marsters. I think it's because they aren't really big actors and most of us have only ever seen them as the character they play in the Buffyverse.
 
Hm, I don't know. I see what you're saying and at the beginning I had huge problems seeing Alyson as anything but Willow, but now it works quite well... And I just love seeing Amy on Alias so much that it doesn't matter if she's really Fred to me or not 😀
