If Joss picks it back up, I think he can take an even more interesting angle with Gunn though. Because as Gunn said (sort of), the people Angel & Spike killed in their evil days are still dead, on the other hand, 100% of Gunn's victims were resurrected. So he's not even sure what he's feeling guilty about.

Anyway, I was spoiled even worse! Back in 2005 Joss & David Fury revealed the bit about Gunn being turned into a vampire in the Alleyway!

I was kinda glad they reversed everything. Technically, nothing is the same as it used to be, but whatever, I liked it. I liked it because it was finally Angel and co. defeating W&H. They finally did it! No cliffhangers... No wasteland of bodies Joss kills over the course of a season finale! 😛 Also, what else would you have had done? There was really nothing left to do. Even within the first couple of issues (or maybe even AS5), it was established that W&H could do ANYTHING they wanted. They were going to use Angel (and Wes) to make whatever they wanted happen. I loved that Angel just didn't let that happen. There was nothing left that he could've done.

I was just thinking about how awesome it would be if Joss went back to AtF. I know it would never happen, but if it were to happen, Joss has a story-arc wide open for use:

Angel becoming a superhero, like Buffy did. This would explain how he learned about all the Twilight (as in the whole higher plane thing) nonsense, his becoming Twilight (just imagine a Darth Vader-esque mask pull-on), Spike getting the ship, Angel's leaving all his friends behind, leaving HIS SON behind. Hell, even Cordy could make a cameo and explain what the hell's going on. And now that I've wrote all this, I'm just about to go force Joss into writing some more AtF issues. 😛
