i think i broke my keyboard

i was just typing and suddenly realized neither of my shift buttons, my ctrl button, and my caps lock button dont work. is it possible that i disabled them somehow without knowing it or did i really break my keyboard...

That's happened to me before. I can't remember how I fixed it exactly. Err... probably not helpful, but make sure everything's still plugged in if you haven't already.

yeah i have. i thought maybe that little metal piece came off or something but i took off the key and made sure they were in place. i dunno what it is

Sin, you might want to try blasting the keyboard with some compressed air. Some keyboards are really sensitive to gunk under the keys and it usually unsticks it if you hit it with the air.

That might make sense if it was one or two keys that are close to eachother, but it sounds like half of her keyboard has gone kerflooey
