Yeah, same here. I try and imagine a more 'blokey' run of the mill hollywood type playing his character and the dialog would have had a completely different feel, and I'd probably wouldn't have felt as much sympathy for the character in the process. To say nothing of not as being as emotionally engaging either imo.
