So, last night my 9 year old son spent the night at a friends house. Unfortunately, I think he's now a vampire. 🙁
We had a very open discussion about the situation, and I think things will work out. He knows he still has to keep his room clean and do the rest of his chores, and I'll be homeschooling him indoors. Here's the problem.... He's a vegetarian.
He'd like to continue living a vegetarian lifestyle (he's never had meat). So we discussed purchasing soy blood, if we can find a good source. They didn't have any on amazon.com. He disappointed about giving up garlic, which we eat a lot of.
He's also bummed that he'll never get older, and won't ever be able to drive a car, and his voice will never change. We're hoping to find some other veggie vamp kids for playdates.
BTW, the above conversation with my little guy was pretty fun. We were laughing and laughing about all the trouble it's going to be. But the dealbreaker for Victor is the whole blood thing. He really wished there was a forum for vegetarian vampires. lol
