Ok. So I read the link put in on the topic of who first thought of Spuffy. In it, James says that he would like to do a bit on Supernatural (which is one of only a few shows i actually watch). He said that he had his manager contact them, but had not heard back. The show has been confirmed for another season, and i REALLY, REALLY, REALLY would like to see him on something i watch. Does anyone know of any way to help make this happen? Should I start a petitition to the writers on Supernatural? Or is it pretty much a useless thing?

I honestly don't know if writing to the producers for something like that would work.
SPN is known for it's heavy fan influence (making references to Wincest, J2, fanfiction, conventions, and other things) but I don't know if they would listen to anyone regarding what actors fans want to see on the show.
There was loud fandom noise about bringing back Ash and Ellen and Jo, but they were all established characters, and it was more about getting the characters back than the actors.
The SPN writers are very much like Joss in that they mostly have a clear idea of what they're doing story-wise, so it's likely that the upcoming season has already been heavily drafted, and if there are new characters to be cast, James would have to fit with those characters.
I'm not saying it's a lost cause, but I am saying that it's incredibly unlikely.

It's only useless if you never try. It's not likely that a letter our petition or something along those lines will affect the show, but you never know.
