If Angel had been in Where the Wild Things Are

In the break up scene between Buffy and Angel in the Prom, part of the conversation went like this:

Angel: You deserve more. You deserve something outside of demons and darkness. You should be with someone who can take you into the light. Someone who can make love to you.
Buffy: I don't care about that.

Now in Where the Wild Things Are Buffy and Riley are at it like rabbits, part of that could have been because of the curse the dorm was under, but we'd seen in previous episodes that after a fight scene Buffy and Riley got a little bit passionate.

Do you think that Buffy still wouldnt have cared about making love to Angel if he had stayed in season 4?

Also, if Angel had stayed and he had been in the episode Where the Wild Things Are, how do you think that episode would have gone? Would Angelus have reappeared etc

Mhm I don't think that Angelous would return but I think Angel would be really hurt nd disappointed even if he always says that it is ok for him. I think he wouldn't show how much he cares, may he would fight against Riley as he did once. But I hope that Angel can show strenght here, maybe a little bit more than he showed at the first meeting with Riley. May somebody can tell him that we have "be nice on the internet week" so may he would try to behave better in real life! 😀

So, here's my very first fanfic ever written (or read, for that matter):

Angel and Buffy get stuck in the frat house, under the spell. They make love like rabbits. After the first time, Angel loses his soul, as he has experienced true happiness once again. Angelus is still under the spell, so sex-a-palooza continues. By the end of it, Angelous is so in love with Buffy, that he turns on his evil ways to fight by Buffy's side and fights to regain his soul as did Spike. Buffy and Angel live happily ever after.

The End.

Buffy and Angel's relationship was always about more than sex. While they were both tempted by each other I don't think that sex ever was (or will be) the reason they aren't together. Buffy would have stayed with Angel with or without sex.

As for Where the Wild Things Are, my guess is that the episode would have been the same. Buffy and Angel would have been trapped in the frat house making sweet passionate love and Angel's soul would have stayed with him because of the curse the house was under.

You know, I've been reading massive tons of fic lately that has to do with Spike being there with her but until this thread, it had never occurred to me that Angel could have been there and what that would have been like.

I suddenly find myself very interested in this.

If he'd been in the room with her, a lot of things could have happened, he could have reverted to Angelus, or he could have managed to keep his mind fixated on not being perfectly happy and saved himself from that. Or the house could have had weird mojo for that.

It also would have been crazy if he'd been one of the people trying to help get the house saved. I imagine he'd have to hear some of what was going on between Buffy and Riley, and he'd have to feel incredibly conflicted about it.

After all, it's what he asked for but, it would have to hurt. A lot. Makes me want to hug him.

Though probably worst possible scenario for everyone would probably be if Spike was stuck in that room with Buffy and Angel had to hear that . . . Sad faces all around if that happened I think. . . Spike probably wouldn't have lived out the rest of that night before Angel shoved a tree though his chest. . .
