If Anya's Wishes Were Granted… (Xander's Fate)

I was thinking about Entropy and how awful those wishes were, what do you think would happen if these wishes were granted?

"And I wish you were never born! "

If Xander was never born, Willow would have turned out into a different person, Buffy would still be dead in Prophecy Girl, Cordelia and Harmony's friendship would probably be tighter, Anya would've never became human, Xander's parents would probably be happy and more successful.

"I wish you felt the pain of a thousand searing pokers boiling your heart in its own juices!"

Well, that'll kill him. So, I guess Buffy would have killed Anya if she's known she was the reason Xander was killed. Willow would have destroyed the world in S6.

"I wish you had tentacles where your beady eyes should be!"

OMG! That would be funny, someone should write this fic. Poor Xander would have a hard time explaining this to Willow and Buffy "“if he were able to find the phone.

"I wish your intestines were tied in knots and ripped apart inside your lousy gut"

That'll probably kill him as well.

"Wish his penis would explode"

Kills him, too. And if it didn't, he'd live his whole life without sex. Poor Anya wouldn't have someone to sex her up twice in S7.

"wishing Xander's brains and guts would go blooey"

Again, death.

I think I'd be kind of devastated if Anya's wishes were granted. If the first wish had been granted, there'd have been no need for the rest. It'd have really sucked to see how things would have been without Xander; like you said, Buffy would have died in Prophecy Girl; meaning the Master would have taken over. Cordelia would have stayed shallow, because she didn't have the Scoobies to hang around with, Giles would have stayed as a stuffy tweed-loving guy probably not ever even coming to Sunnydale, most of the other Sunnydale residents we know and love would be dead due to the Master, Anya would still be Anyanka which would clearly be the most depressing thing of all 😉.

Oh, and Kendra would be the slayer, unless Drusilla had still killed her, in which case Faith would have been activated. And, if Faith was still activated, I wonder if she'd still have gone rogue without Buffy? I'm not sure, I don't think she'd have been there to have killed Alan, though I think eventually something would have tipped her over the edge, anyway. And if Faith was rogue and the only slayer? Things without Xander would actually make for a really, really bad turn of events.

Even if the first wish hadn't been granted, and he'd died there and then; season seven would have been different. But, at least he wouldn't have lost his eye, that's a plus...
 
Thank god she never got her wishes! Poor Xander. He'd really be screwed over! We should all fear Anya's wrath...

I think perhaps the worst would be the first one. After all, Xander did save all the students at SH in "The Zeppo" when he convinced that guy not to bomb the place. So without Xand, everyone in the area would be dead (assuming the bomb was a strong one) along with everyone else in the building at the time. Buffy would be dead because there would have been no one there to give her CPR in PG as you said.

Not the mention the fact that without Xander, Willow would have succeeded in destroying the world in "Grave."

I doubt all the other events required for that to happen (Willow becoming a powerful witch, falling in love with Tara, etc.) would be preserved either. If Buffy dies for real in Prophecy Girl, the Master takes over Sunnydale. It would probably turn out quite like the alternate universe in The Wish, actually, only without vampire Xander obviously (and with extra demony goodness from the opened Hellmouth). Unless Kendra turns up to stop the Master, but I doubt she'd fare any better than Wishverse Buffy did.
 
Ow, poor Xander. Let's be thankfull that Anya can't make her wished come true by herself. Scenario numero uno is so creepy. Dead Buffy :O and I wonder what kind of person Willow would be. Probably not that nice without her best friend by her side.
 
I really think that without Xander around, Willow would have become a very different person. Xander's friendship shaped the person Willow became. Having one person care about her and love her.
